I worked for sygma network. I got paid good. Got fired cuz i got caught with my phone in my hand as i pulling into a stop cuz of the stupid camera.

Sadly many business would rather go out of business then pay their employees fairly, the forget that as a economy the majority of the spending is from worker wages that form a cycle of spending. Instead they prefer to think that profit is endless and that they are not responsible for undermining an economy when they pay their workers next to nothing.

The smart ones use their official job as a cover for what they're really delivering. It explains why so many Skip The Dishes people show up in high end cars.

I gotta admit that I'm wondering why anybody would work in the industry over there since you're not guaranteed to make a living wage but have to rely on tipping to be able to survive. Waiters, food delivery drivers, etc. should go on a strike imo because these huge corporations have gone way too far.

That's why delivery places (like Dominos, Papa Johns etc) should switch to fully electric vehicles at least in sunny areas like AZ, TX, etc). They'd save a LOT. Also, there should be solar powered charging stations at restaurants for the drivers to charge up the vehicles during the day.

grocery stores have always locked the baby formula up, because it is so expensive, and it is so expensive because only two factory's are allowed to make and sell it.

The job shortages aren’t due to people not wanting to work, they’re due to corporations being greedy and everyone needs to make that as known as possible. Goldberg states, “Right now America is tearing itself apart as an embittered white conservative minority clings to power, terrified at being swamped by a new multiracial polyglot majority.” Then she points out that Georgia is less than 53 percent non-Hispanic white and goes on to say that if there is a massive turnout of non-whites, combined with white liberals, then Abrams could win and become the first black governor. Her conclusion is the following: “In a week, American voters can do to white nationalists what they fear most. Consider this: back in the day there was 1 phone company. Than it was broken up. How many cellular providers are there now? Standard Oil is another great example. Rockefeller started buying up smaller oil companies and ended up with a monopoly. He was forced to break it up, but got to keep stock in all of the newly formed companies. I'm afraid the same thing that happened with Rockefeller getting to keep stocks will happen with any large company/companies that get broken up. That being said I want Amazon broken up. I also think it's ridiculous how many fast food chains/ food brands are under 1 umbrella.

Capitalism is the problem. We need a department from the government that can oversee how much a person does in responsibilities for work and how much they SHOULD be paid. That part should also be considered and discussed with accountants for the business owner to see if the job can actually be paid as much as to not incur a loss for the business. Government should at least oversee this balance since I believe that issue is better resolved compared to price control.

Here's an idea. Legislate labor rights. Bring back laws protecting employees from being overworked and underpaid. Bring back laws protecting the health and safety of employees. I know it seems like a pipe dream. But I'm an old lady. I remember when there was such a thing as a living wage. It can be done. People just have to stop listening to GOP politicians. That's it. The answer to the problem is - GREED. The solution would be - I hate to say it - but some regulation. In Europe, they also have an institute of minimum wage established, but differently. First of all - not all jobs are equal; what a surprise, right...? Some only require some basic training and almost no education. Other ones require highly sophisticated training and years, even decades of demanding education. How the heck can we have only one level of the minimum wage over here? How is it even possible that the pilot who carries on his shoulders the burden of responsibility for the lives of dozens/hundreds of passengers in potentially insecure conditions can have the same minimum wage as somebody who washes dishes in a restaurant under the very safe conditions...?! (What is the biggest danger over there, that the person will break a couple of plates?!) This is not just ridiculous; this is literally perverse! Over here is another example from Europe based on common sense and basic logic that is worthy of following. 1. Any work/job is classified according to its complexity. 2. The degrees of complexity include demanded/necessary education (e.g., doctors), training (e.g., drivers), the measure of responsibility (e.g., pilots, bus drivers), the measure of danger (e.g., firefighters), and other indicators that influence which jobs belong to which category. 3. Minimum wage for the lowest skilled jobs, like is dishwasher mentioned above, e.g., significantly differs from the minimum wage for pilot or neurosurgeon. 4. The graduated minimum wage is law-established, obligatory for any employer (state, private!), and valorized every year(!) based on inflation. So, yes, America. In Europe, there is no minimum wage that wasn't moved up for 12 years because that's great for employers... (Every European state can have some slight differences, but principally, this is how it works over there.) Simply put, no works/jobs are not equal, and only over here can it look like they could be so. (America, pls, wake up already!) Even the job of a delivery driver carries a significantly higher level of responsibility, especially in today's traffic, compared to the job of the dishwasher. Let alone talk that it minimally requires obtaining a driving license and at least(!) a couple of dozens of hours of driving experience. (Nothing against the dishwashers, sorry guys, it only serves as an example. Every job we need is important.) So, I highly suggest - that when the owners/chairmen/CEOs of the airline companies need to fly somewhere next time, they should hire - a dishwasher. And I would prefer a machine to a human. Those people (the owners/chairmen/CEOs) are not especially precious; we can find people with their idiotic approach everywhere, so the machine could be just fine to fly them where they "need" to go... And if something happens? Oh, who the heck cares...?
