The tool works. I’m not a very tech savvy guy. There was some guesswork involved bc the owners manual doesn’t show u every screen. But once I got to the page for my car, it was able to scan the system, detect the faults and after I repaired it, cleared the codes with no issues.
They advertise this tool as having the ability to “reset crash data”. One ad literally says “restore srs module to new”. Thank you for the video I want the NT650 elite but haven’t found the answer to the this question. Does it really delete crash data? Answer: No. it clears codes after issue is solved. It does seem to do a very good job of telling what and where the issue is.
I have the exact same scanner for something like three years now and I have yet to have a problem diagnosing a car with it it is a pretty good tool that I got out of steel on eBay I think I paid 30 bucks and it came with a battery starter alternator tester and the 6:30nt Foxwell
Hewlett-Packard scan tool owner since 1994. You have to have an automotive I.Q. higher than the number of terminals in the OBD-II connector. It helps to know how modules communicate and how bi-directional share data. Like all computers, garage in-garage out. SIR is a recorder to 10-15 seconds of actual car data prior to the accident. That can not be erased. Current info and codes can be erased after repairs are made. You model may vary. But if going 22 MPH over the speed limit, never hit the brakes and the gas pedal was at WOT, it will record it. It requires a scan tool sold by License Only to Police, Highway Patrol, FBI, DOT and others, it is there and captured. All you can do is clear codes to install inflation modules as needed that turn the light off, make the vehicle safe to drive and be protected. People don't know, but in side impact of enough force, only the inflator side modules will deploy. Not both sides. Plus, under the passengers seat fabric, is a pillow of nitrogen that detects 40 pounds or less, to deploy or not. Baby or groceries in passenger seat do not need a full force air bag at all, or low deployment stage #1, or full sized person gets stage #2, full hard deployment. Most of the need the windshield properly installed as it hits it first, changes direction by design, and protects the passenger. And straight on impacts are the most misunderstood. Dead center of the vehicle, hitting a concrete wall, at 30 MPH at center or 20 degrees left or right of center. Most people say, this guy hit me head on and the air bag did not deploy! Right. Was the driver decelerating? Foot on the brakes yelling? Yes! Was the other driver doing the same thing? Yes! So the combined force was less than a concrete wall, at 30 MPH, or left or right of center by too far a distance. You have a narrow window for frontal air bag deployment or injury from the air bag is worse! Come on folks! You have one-time-use seat belt pretensioner that tighten the seal belt back. This pulls you away from the steering wheel, dash and knee bolsters. That padded panel under the dash with a bolted metal plate protects you during a frontal collision. You slide down as "G-Forces" increase keeping you legs and knees from being cut off. Know, at 100 MPH, all bets are off!!! Nothing can save you from grave injury. It is engineering, forces of nature plus stupid people doing stupid stuff. This requires car companies to achieve higher safety scores, reducing injuries and protecting every Bubba that can't drive from getting injured! (No Offense Meant for anyone named Bubba anywhere). High profile vehicles like a 4X4 raise 3", with 28" tires can flip 3 times if sitting still in an intersection and tee-boned by a 88 Ford Taurus from the side going 20 MPH. It is physics not dreams. Thanks for the video. You saved me the trouble of returning this scanner. I'm trying to reset a side impact code on a 2011 G37 Infinity. Any idea for a cheap scanner that does this? Did a 2013 Chevy Cruze with my Launch CRP129, but it won't clear crash data on an Infinity.
The model number is right on the front. Perhaps you should get to know the product BEFORE you try to use it, and do a video. You're not supposed to be able to reset crash data. That's for manufactures to do.

hey bud. Thanks very much for this video. I decided to buy one and its on the way. So check this, I purchased a salvage 2011 camaro ss that deployed both curtain airbags and seatbelts retracted frozen locked so I had the seatbelts repaired by safety restore and the sdm module reset by myairbags.com. I purchased this scanner and it should be coming next week. so, after installing everything back in, my service airbag light is still on which brought me to this tool because I'm kinda wondering if the sensors need replacing or if its possible i can just clear the sensor data with the tool. The SDM midule should've been reset to factory again even though i think there'sa hardware change thst needs to be made. Otherwise, if it cant, im thinking i have to replace the curtain airbag sensors too... ahhh the joys of buying salvage cars. My question for you is, "Were you able to clear any data after you had reset the SDM module?" for example, the airbag sensor for the driver side? best -Johnnie
Correct!, if you had the Module rest : you shouldn't need a tool to clear any codes. Maybe there is still something at fault with the system. or the seat sensors may needs to be reprogrammed to the module so yes, you will need this tool to complete that task. let me know how it turns out!
hack nữa đi no it can only do abs SRS and engine faults. You may be looking at the wrong tool. Try xtool 100 pad I will post a video showing how to do that using that tool
The lady in the beginning does not know how to dance... at least it tell us if the airbags are functional after replacing. Crash data is noting more than crash data. I'll just leave the lights on my dash. Like driving a casino...
When adding radios and such to your vehicle sometimes they need a module sometimes it's just an aftermarket plug that you connect to your radio to connect to the vehicle so that you can still use your steering wheel to higher and lower and switch to your stations and a lot of people hack harnesses upgrading radios and TVs and bullshit I believe that's what he means by right connections
I think you need to read the manual so you know what things are doing and what you're not doing because mine will erase codes on some cars not all cars sometimes you need to have the key that plugs into the machine and then plugs into the port in order to erase codes on Volkswagen Toyota and Mitsubishi
