Not only the best front man a band could have, but importantly a great musician who wrote so many great songs. Sadly missed to this day. No one in the music industry has come close to matching him and never will.
I couldn't agree more. A kind talented man who shared his gift with the world, freddie roger deaky and brian were a kind of magic. Also making us feel we could do it too. I will be seeing brian roger and adam live in LA this November.
Não consigo encontrar palavras para definir quem foi (e continua sendo) Freddie Mercury. Simplesmente genial: voz, performance no palco, simpatia, beleza, tudo. Uma pena ter partido tão cedo!
Freddie was surely not of this world! Greatest voice ever, 30 years later and this man is still impacting this world with his music. With Freddie, Taylor Hawkins, Michael Hutchins, George Michael, and Jimi Hendrix heaven must be jumpin!👑🥰‼️
there are millions of wonderful performers, groups, but there is no one like Freddie, this is a priceless diamond that the planet has lost. incomparable Freddy
We lost nothing! His face, his incredible voice is with us! He is forever young! Great, intelligence, unique person R.I.P I do hope that he is there situated... right to Once for Whom he wrote and sang his best songs

That ended me. Singing to an empty stadium? True, that's a professional at their finest, probably even more of a reason why it brought tears to my eyes. All the emotions he brings out in a crowd...and he can do the the same thing by himself, but it looks so terribly lonely. Poignant.
Demi Constantine only wish I had gotten the chance to see him and the boys live. Did see Brian May band in Baltimore Maryland at hammerjacks For my birthday. We were in the third row from the stage stood inline for several hours just to get good standing room. Right I front of Brian SIGH. Queen will be on theEast coast of America but money will be a huge factor. Seats have become so expensive. I will make my best effort.
Lyne Flaherty not a day goes by without me thinking about him. I was supposed to go to live aid had tickets and airfare, but I got really sick and was hospitalized for the 4days before. I was LUCKY to be able to watch it on tv. I had a VERY close call lost more than half of my blood had major surgery. Turns out I have Systemic Lupus. The blood was in the general supply they had no time to get my family to donate. In 85 there was a huge risk of me also getting Aids. Still have a risk I need transfusions from time to time. Its funny though at the time I never thought about it. I was MORE upset about missing Freddie than anything else. I wish I had heard about Freddie’s famous quote (in the days before the internet information did not flow as freely as it does today). You see I was a ballet dancer, but when I got sick I let the illness defeat what I loved. HE NEVER DID.
@@strawbrryfld1 oh God your story reminds me of myself. I lost over have my blood volume and had a blood transfusion too in the early 90's and got a letter about the blood being free of HIV from the hospital after I had gone home. I'm glad you pulled through and get to see Fred at Live Aid here on RU-vid ...not the same but still so good .
Right there with you - I'm 57 .....and fell in love with "We are the Champions" in the '80s....because it was the tune that my bro's cross country team used to train.....they were. Queen gave us all a bit of championship......how can four beings stir so many emotions in so many generations?
So much Love. This is a beautiful tribute. Yessir. Mary Austin truly loved Freddie right back..she never profited from knowing him, no articles, no books, no deception..They were beautiful together. It tells us a lot about who Freddie Mercury was- he made a promise..until the end and they both kept it.
So I’m in tears watching this and then 2:20......he struts out onto the stage in full royal garb with the crown & cape and I just can’t help but start laughing!! This was Freddie being fully himself and I just love it. ❤️
He made everyone around him happy...a true generous spirit. Damn that cursed disease. We should still be watching him live. RIP Freddie and thanks for everything?
I'll bet there's still vials of his blood stashed away somewhere. And there'll be someone with one of his whistles that he threw from the stage with his spit still in it! Someone will have some of his hair for sure. Then there is his stage clothing which would not have been burned because it would have been stored some other place. His DNA will be in lots of places. People just need to look.
I've never admired a rock band, but when.I've watched Freddie Mercury of the QUEEN, I can't blame those mob who cheered for him, sang with him..he's really one of a million ROCK STAR , so dynamic, flamboyant, talented, everything!
What else can I Say!!! All brothers and sisters ,as he used to say, have said the truly things about our dearest Freddy, unique..loving...unforgettable ,I love you to the moon and back, my dear boy.
This is an awesome video yet bittersweet and just hits home how much the world lost when Freddie died. His voice is unlike anything I’ve heard and I doubt that his beauty, power, and vocal genius will come this way again. With every video and recording I’ve seen/heard, his voice is different - it came from his soul and maybe that’s why it impacted and continues to impact so many!
Freddie did what his heart told him to do. We see in him the great genuine person that he is. He loves music and he loves sharing it with everyone...miss him..😢
Read the clip of interview with Peter Freestone?. He was personal manager/friend ( not lover) he lived in Freddie’s home. He tells many stories of how kind he was to everyone, how well he treated everyone working and living in his home. He. also tells of how Freddie would buy something for himself and also return having bought something for everyone else in the household/entire staff. There are so many wonderful stories of his love and kindness for everyone around him. He chose goodness in people, anyone having the opportunity to have spent time at gatherings at his homes was so fortunate.
In all walks of life, whether you listen to classical, pop, jazz, country, whatever, EVERYONE has heard of Queen. You say Freddie Mercury, damn, the reaction is unbelievable. They all became legends!
Not everyone. I saw 2 u tube videos where people react to songs they had never heard before. 2 of them were listening to Bohemian Rhapsody. I don't know how they never had heard it before. But they both loved it . They were shocked by the words about killing a man and the Galileo part, pleasantly shocked. They both said they would have to listen to more songs by Queen. Well. Yeah...
Freddie Mercury is the best vocalist in all history of the rock music. I love him very much for his marvelous, fabulous and timeless songs I have ever heard.
Never another. Freddie transcended age, race, everything. What you saw was the magic je had in him in his writing, music, and stage. I would like to see the younger fans include the raw talent of the young Freddie in these montage's years, 73, 75, 77. When he did the original Keep Yourself alive, Liar, See What a Fool I've Been. Younger, sexy, rocker, a bit more contained, learning his craft. Love this man.
Freddie is really exceptional among all vocalist. Gods creation of talent he got only Freddie was able to gather crowds that big He is admirable. He shared popularity with the other members of Queen who still enjoy financial blessings. GOD BLESS QUEEN BAND.
What a tragic loss. An immortal human being- Gone way too soon. God Bless You Freddie for leaving us with so much joy, music and all your love. Queen will live on Forever.
7:39 Brian low key wiped away a tear as Freddie sang his hear out about when I grow older bc he knew he was dying and would never live to be old. Made me want to cry too.
That footage was from the '82 tour to promote the uptempo fiasco that was Hot Space. Freddie wasn't diagnosed until 1986 and despite what the BR movie tells you, he did not announce to the band he was dying. He just said "you know what I'm going through but I don't want to talk about it" They were clever people, they worked it out .........
