@@madster01 i wouldn’t say it made his career, but it certainly elevated it (even though i would’ve voted for that slenderman theory back in 2014 (still not over that))
@Lil Naz X HAHAHAHAHA DEMONS ARE LAUGHING AT MARKIPLIER NIECE AND BECAUSE SHE VOTED TRUMP SHE FORCED TO CRY IN PAIN NOW IN HE|| AND NOBODY MISSES HER EXCEPT HER TRUMPEDE DADDY HAHAHAHAAHA LMAO
As someone whose only knowledge of FNAF consists of glancing over the wiki for 5 minutes while I was stoned 4 years ago, watching LP's of it for maybe a week before it got popular with kids and had LORE, and now Charlie's videos, I have to say: I really like them taking the Terminator 2 route with Freddy and making him the quirky but kinda cool robot companion that protects the kid protagonist, but there's also this air of "will he malfunction?" that adds tension to the plot. It's good. Good stuff. I appreciate this from a comfy distance.
SPOILERS unfortunately freddy is still nice at the end of the game, in some endings he does die though. Though people theorise the 2 star ending after fighting William Afton and h€ntai Freddy (i Don't think there's an official name but it's essentially Molten freddy but bigger and has almost flesh-like tenticles) where Freddy and Gregory escape but Vinny is still around
Eh, Fnaf always had lore, it was just revealed to us slowly and personally I've divided it in my head in 2 parts: early fnaf lore that was cool, mysterious and creepy and whatever sort of insane amalgam it has become now
@@sam4gaming135 molten freddy/funtime freddy is enard from sister location in which the other souls of the robots came together to form a larger form of tentacles of robots.
It sent shivers down their spine because Vanny isnt a robot, so her being "disassembled" was actually the robots ripping a person apart into pieces. You don't actually see it of course, but the idea is still there
@TheFruitMan I didn't mean it did for me :P I've been to LL myself and have seen shit like what you could see there since I was young. It's never bothered me. Fun fact though, there's LL alternatives now that it shut down. I've stumbled upon and been to two so far. The internet is wild
It so crazy seeing Charlie shit on and us watch how unscary and glitched it is...but to some kid right now this is game of the year material and one of the most scariest games ever created lol
I was pretty upset with how little of a game there actually was to everything. There was a decent amount of build up for the game to essentially be a glorified haunted house, with a scavenger hunt for pointless items.
Same, to me they placed too much into the visuals and hype then into the gameplay and story. I bet they did this so they can place more elements into DLC to help with the story
I though the game looked ok. BUT, I didn't even know it existed till now AND charily played a lot of crappy games before this so pong would have looked amazing
Charlie seems to be peeing himself a lot. Enough to attract watersports enthusiasts and that scares me. Charlie please help, there's like 25 bots in the replies.
so you’re telling me that theyd animate freddy getting disassembled but not vanny? i feel completely robbed and will be writing an angry letter to the creators of this game.
@@calxcalibur no when springtrap aka aftons circuit board got scanned it came out as clones which accumulated as glitchtrap therefore the plushie u see is what some people believe is part of aftons soul tellibg vannesa/ vanny what to do and the clones are just part of his soul
The only one that was somewhat different is sister location. The other games are "scarier" because the sounds are way better somehow. For the longest time fnaf 3 had the weakest jumpscares (spring trap is just silly) but now I think that award goes to this failure of a game
Fr I think they wanted to go in a more survival/stealth kinda direction rather than the point and click, cheap jump scare format we’re used to for fnaf games
By this point, FNAF doesn’t really scare me as much as it used to, but I’m still kinda invested in the lore though. Sure its kinda goofy now, but it’s the perfect kind of goofy that still gets me interested in it.
Why is Freddy the hero in this game when he was trying to kill you in all the past games? Simple; it's not the same Freddy as back then. It's _never_ the same Freddy. There's multiple iterations of the same character, but they're not _all the same character._ this isn't an old animatronic rebuilt into a new frame, this is an entirely new robot who just so happens to be an incarnation of Freddy Fazbear. He's not even haunted like the others are, the Glamrock animatronics have actual Artificial Intelligence.
Well that's not necessarily true. Freddie was in 2 he was just damaged, and technically in 3 if you count the phantom characters. And golden Freddy I'm pretty sure has been the same since the beginning
@@jibgaming3247 to be fair (imo at least) the animatronics are the scariest looking in that game. the part where it seems like they pick you up and shake you used to make me almost shit myself when i was younger
These people dont know how lucky they are that they get a condensed 25 minutes long version instead of having to binge 8 hours worth of his orginal livestream. Also people kept spamming "SORRY MOMMY?" in the chat everytime Roxy showed up.
Charlie's theory/fleeting thought that Security Breach would be telling the story of how Gregory turns Glamrock Freddy into the evil Freddy we see in the other games is unironically way better than the real story of the game. ☠️
I mean, it would be the biggest plothole in the entire series since there isnt really any evil Freddy. Those Freddies are no different from Chica, Roxy or Monty in this game. Not at all evil. As for the real story of the game, well, thing is, all the background lore has always been better than the games themselves. People didnt really play FNaF 2 with the expectation to be a fully different game, people played FNaF 2 to get the lore faster. Could it have been better? Yeah, considering the game was quite significantly delayed due to covid, there seems to be plenty of oppertunity to smash the bigger bugs. Like the AI getting stuck in an animation when Gregory is no longer there(Chica can get pretty much perma-stuck in front of a locker if she saw you enter it but not exit it, you would need to load the next portion of the map to make her unstuck again). From all the FNaF games, it's by far the most interesting and fun one to play as FNaF Help Wanted was effectively a 3d remake of the original games mashed into 1.
@@Predated2 I'd say it'll be the most fun to play when they get all the bugs ironed out, because as of now it's the most frustrated. But conceptually it should be the most fun.
@@mrosskne This version of Freddy isn't evil, I think the main reason behind why the rest of them are is because of them being connected to the animatronic network (which is what William aka Glitchtrap is controlling ) which is making them more hostile and more prone to violence, while Freddy is in safe mode and is not connected to any of those networks.
@Louiebruh1idk sad lil man hating on others cause ur life is sad as no one will remember when your dead you use religion as a scapegoat from your lonely sad life
this particular style of gameplay would work great as a multiplayer game where its like 2-4 kids running around a security room using teamwork to keep animatronics at bay.
there was a time where it did and was actually quite interesting. fans started pumping out theories and scott cawthon didn't want to alienate anyone so he tried to make everything open-ended and effectively lost control of his own story, which is why its such a fucking mess now
@@waspswarm870 yes, Scott is a good guy and all and has made good games in the past, but he just isn't very straightforward with his storylines, I think he just wasn't prepared to think of more when the games first started to get popular, he felt the need to do more and then added way more and is interesting but it gets in the way with people's own answers and some get mixed in real and not real. He really didn't have the story figured out that much. though, I do like it, it''s just way too much sometimes. But, having the same old story with no addition to it if high enough demand can get boring and will lead the series down. Sure, it's a lot of it that's not needed but I'm glad it's still going
@Aquarium Gravel Up until it second game, it litruelly the second Scott added more plotthreads and having FNAF be in whatever past/future the game is set in just kinda threw it in the trash. All games are fine on their own but then single second you try to connect them or look at extra scenes and minigames, all but the first one shoot themselves in the head.
Tbh i can see why you would hate the Fnaf series. The story makes no sense, often contradicts itself and theres so much left unexplained and theres like a billion games
@Aquarium Gravel yeah. fnaf will always have a special place in my heart as its the first video game i ever got into, but the lore sucks ass. Everything fell off at fnaf 3, the lore was much better when it was simply a killer guy who stuffed kids into haunted animatronics that try to kill you, not the weird afton family drama and glitchtrap shit
The new Freddy Fazbear model seriously looks like a dude thats been hooked on crack for 20 years, went into rehab for a year and was released back into society. The way his eyes are just so circular and constantly staring at you, and how he's constantly slack-jawed, it's fantastic.
Ngl, Monty's definitely been putting the most work out of anyone in catching Gregory. So unfortunate his kills keep getting stolen by the other animatronics
Roxy is my 2nd favorite character in this game like how you hear her in her room being down on herself for not catching you but also pulling her self together is amazing 😂
I love her personality, it’s like Markiplier’s when he’s playing games. (Him mocking his enemies, and gloating about himself, him doing it ironically of course.)
im not gonna say that vanny getting "disassembled" sent shivers down my spine, but i will say its fuckin' wild to think that a human got torn apart by robots in kiddy horror game lmao...wait thats just the whole point these games
I don’t watch Charlie’s twitch so over the last week I just found the sudden plummet in quality of games to be funny, from hollow knight a polished, perfected masterpiece to this glitchy mess
That's how this channel is though. You're never really sure what the next video is. Sometimes it's stream stuff, other times he's hunting down garbage trucks, other times he's talking about serious issues. It's the charm imo.
I prefer it when the games are glitchy messes because it normally results in the funniest commentary and moments. I would love to see more Charlie streams where he plays some highly cursed gameplay experience
The scene where Freddy gets torn apart like a newly introduced character from the walking dead was so anticlimactic since it was just a 4 second clip of staff bots having a seizure and Freddy parts flying out from the bottom of the screen
Apparently, Freddy is short for Frederick, but it's also short for Alfred. So now he has three possible name options: •Freddy Fazbear •Frederick Fazbear •Alfred Fazbear
The game is 1/4 horror and the rest is just weird with glitches, jumps scares being toss around to the point it numbs you, and being confused on the story. The begin scared me before it felt like it was going to dangerous to wonder a big area with a bunch robots watching but all of them running Windows vista.
I understand that Charlie didn’t like the endings, but it is waaaaay better than any ending we got (except pizza sim, that was goated). The thing is that it is really hard for fnaf fans to judge security breach as we only had fucking indie horror games lol. Either way I love that the community is enjoying this game, I surely did
@@Davwid Yea, like considering that almost all games are click this button to close the door or things so simple like that, having a full game where you can just even see the characters talking is a very big thing for us… i am truly happy to see big streamers and people who don’t really know the other games are enjoying this one, even though it has a lot of bugs, i still can’t complain
My biggest issue with FNaF atm, is that whilst the jumpscares have always been meh, the reason why I loved the previous games before Ultimate Custom Night was because of it's fantastic ambience/creepy visuals and incredibly eerie sound design (and lore of course.) That has somewhat been ditched ever since UCN just to fill it with more and more cheap scares but this is the series that I'll keep coming back to, no matter how unscary it gets. This franchise is the definition of my childhood.
The comics make it so much less emotional. Take ‘A Way Out’ for example, the ending of that game could’ve gone both ways and it was because of the cinematic gameplay that it was a great story. There was so much potential for these endings

I can kind of see what they were going for with the comic book endings but it did not have the spine chilling effect of any other game's endings. For example, the Fnaf VR ending with Glitchtrap ominously dancing around after killing your character is terrifying. The ideas for some of the endings were decent, but animating them would have been 1000000 times better.
The only solace about the ending where you disassemble Vanny is that it's an actual person in the suit, not an animatronic. So having a child "disassemble" Vanny by the S.T.A.F.F. bots is actually pretty brutal, but still it's not even animated... Other than that ONE little tidbit, I agree most endings are super lame, anti-climatic, and should've been animated AT LEAST.
Me too, I really wish they animated the endings instead, especially the worst ending since it would be so much better if you could actually see freddy's disassembled body let out his last words instead
I think they just gave up on the scary aspect of this game completely, The gameplay looks fun considering it’s got 10 hours worth of it and 7 endings that we know of. But it’s really buggy
@@Syclone- I consider it more of a story based stealth adventure game more than a horror game. At least in my eyes it succeeds much more at being the former rather than the latter.
My only real experience with FNAF before this was Markiplier's playthrough of the first game back when that was new. Checking in now and seeing the real bad guy is a fanfic pixel art of an enderman is the peak of indie-horror-shit-for-kids lore
Favourite thing is I see nearly every other RU-vidr loving this game then I watch this, where he gets wall banged and Freddy teleports and characters get stuck and it looks so sloppy lol
"THEY WILL LEARN THE TRUTH OF PAIN..." -- Ridley (also that's one of the bad endings because Vanny doesn't want to kill people and there is a way to save her)
I cannot Fucking stand how in this game they just teleport the Enemies to you if the bots see you. Instead of having them actually hunt you down. Do it like Mr X in RE2. Its that simple 🤷♂️
I’m on my second play through of the game simply because I absolutely love the map design and the robot design. But it’s buggy and can be VERY boring at times. Not only that the bugs make it almost unplayable at times.
i fucking know right…like i legit wanna buy the game just to walk around the map and enjoy the great character designs + models. Like DAMN they’re fantastic!!
@@lukescrew1981 simply saying “cry about it” isn’t an appropriate response to criticism. Also it’s not even fair when just yesterday another safe file got soft stuck because I reached level 10 security badge by repeating the same mission over and over again. The game has a lot of bugs.
The fact that they keep upgrading Fazbear Entertainment's buildings every game is hilarious to me. Half the premise was that it's a dirt cheap company that constantly gets people killed or injured through their negligence.
This is really nostalgic for me cause one of the first videos I ever saw of yours was your FNAF one back in like 2015... Which is strange cause I never really liked FNAF lmao
