Thanks for this great review - we need to get you over to Ullswater Yacht Club so a few of us can demo both the Nitro and the new Pro that you mentioned. Funnily enough I did buy, then immediately return, a wing in that 'yellow stuff' that you allude to so carefully! Totally agree with your concerns and the particular wing that was sent to me last year had other issues, but having had that fabric in hand, I feared for the lifespan of that investment. This looks much better, so I'm keen to experiment when possible. Keep the reviews coming.

I'm booked into Waterside house campsite on the 17/18th, for a family holiday - will be winging if windy - you are welcome to try - otherwise drop me a line on email. Ade Bacon has a 5m, My 4m nitro - the first ever test wing is now a year old. It's been at 12 psi, and has more hours on it than any other wing I have owned - still epic!

I think the winging world needs to learn from what happened in windsurfing, to not get too specialised and shoot itself in the foot. Let's face it, it's just a bit of fun. The good guys can rip on anything

I completely agree - and I tell them all the time you can be sure!! The tech & understanding they can gain from making custom stuff for the pro's does filer back to the mainstream, but I agree - keeping a handle on the reality of kit that handles really well in the broadest range of conditions is the key to the success of the brand imho. I hope it settles in the coming 2 years and stays real! Truth is we are all learning so fast. Every week we figure out something new - part of the appeal 🙂
