a woman I use to know loved to sew. She found a very simple little girl dress pattern and bought cheap plain material. She would watch tv and sew hundreds of dresses and donate them to families in need, or churches etc.

Yes, many women who belonged to quilt guilds would make small quilts to give away, to police, to charities of all kinds, for those in need of comfort.

The berries are wonderful, yum. Love your outfit the fabric and pattern and workmanship are amazing. You can wear that outfit anywhere. I picture you s Carrying a wicker badket strolling a farmer's market or flea market. Lunch at an outdoor cafe. Carry business cards people will ask you where you got your outfit!

I am lazy. I slice up my strawberries and put into open freezer baggies, then put a handful of the super ripe strawberries into a blender with a bit of water and sugar. I mix to make a slurry, then pour some into each baggie, then seal and freeze. During the year, will defrost a baggie, put fruit into little cups with a shot of whipped cream for a dessert. However, a few years ago I bought cans of freeze dried strawberries and freeze dried pineapples, very expensive, but oh...what a wonderful snack! No need for refrigeration! 😃

Hi Toni - those are really lovely strawberries and they make real nice snacks. Love the material - great idea adjusting the pattern. I too have the belly I’m trying to shrink - lol. I quit wearing dresses when I retired. Hope you finger heals quickly.

Good morning from Saskatchewan. You're running your air conditioner😮 we're still waiting for overnight temperatures to be in the double digits, Frost warnings for the last three nights. Hopefully it gets up into the teens today. Are strawberries look beautiful❤

Wow Toni! Absolutely beautiful outfit! I totally love it! You’re an amazing seamstress too. Looks like it came right out of a magazine. And those strawberries 🍓… look delicious! By the way.. I watched your video at the Strawberry Farm & thought you looked really good! I’m very picky about my weight as well so I understand. But you looked really pretty, I thought. I have more freeze dried foods now. I prefer the freeze dried vs dehydrated any day! And we are strawberry eaters & they look yummy! Those wouldn’t last long at my house either! Hey Toni, I wrote a comment but before I finished it I turned my phone sideways and it disappeared! If it shows up, oh well. The strawberries look delicious but I think another trip to the farm would be a good idea. They even looked different than store bought so I know they must taste better. I like the outfit! It’s always good to see you!

Yes, They are delicious, but the round trip to the farm was three hours, not counting the time spent there...I don't know if Mark is up for a second trip, even though he enjoyed it...so I may have to hide some to make them last a bit longer.

The berries look lovely. Do you have to pay your own hydro? Scary if you do. The outfit looks great. The skirt looks way too full for me to ever think of wearing it. Do you wear the corset as a vest with something underneath or open chest and arm reveal? Not sure what kind of fabric you used and was wondering if it was a Winter outfit. Either way its beautiful. Great job. Has Mark been doing any fishing with his buddies? Take care.

definitely as a vest with something underneath it..no open chest for me..The corset is a heavier fabric...Yes Mark has been out fishing, He likes being out as much as possible, weather allowing!
