Because of the judge being biased, i dont think karen is getting a fair trial!.. This judge needs to be admonished for blatantly supressing the defense in presenting their case!. Ive never seen anything like this before. Why is she allowing the attys to object without stating their reason?..the state objects and she sustains it without knowing the reason for the objection!.. Unbelievable..😮
I hope the defense attorneys see my comment. I would focus on the fact that everyone knew that John didn’t like shoes worn in his home. They all knew to take their shoes off at John’s house before entering. Jenn and Karrie both said it. The fact they only found 1 of John’s shoes on him points to the fact that he went in the house. He would have took his shoes off at the door. I think he went to leave and put his shoes on and was attacked and only got one shoe on .
People hit by cars also often lose their shoes due to centrifugal force. Doesn’t explain why one shoe missing however, I’m waiting for forensics and real evidence of this case to play out.
Oh my goodness... When the attorney witness was asked about Karen praising John a lot that night, prosecution objected and bev agreed to not let that in, although fortunately the jury still got to hear it...... This judge has tried to tie both hands behind the defense in so many aspects during this trial, I hope the jury sees that and I also hope that this judge faces some kind of consequences for her outrageous biased behavior!!!
Ok so the prosecution can ask who won the basketball game but the defense can't ask if Karen hosted a birthday party for John's neice without an object and sidebar??? They have tried to paint her as a jealous witch who hated the kids? Aunt Bev strikes again
The prosecution is not bringing any evidence to this trial but just reiterating who was at the bar. Get to the evidence and stop wasting everyone’s time. I believe that there was a fight which involved Brian Albert, Brian Higgins and the dog. Possibly Collin since he had a black eye. Karen had no involvement.
How sad for Karen and the O'Keefe family watching that video. Karen looks as though she is reliving that night and thinking that within a few hours John would be deceased..😢
Finally, someone speaks truthfully. This lady has nothing to lose by being honest. I don't know what happened that night, but I doubt they have yet to find the truth. I believe the dog was involved in some way. I don't know how else some of his injuries can be explained.
Holy moly this Judge calls more sidebars that any judge I have ever watched. I think she wants to be the lawyer in this trial. She cannot keep her hands out of it !!!! Control, control !!!
She is having to train this ridiculous defense lawyer "on the job!" He is rude, snide and way out of line. In order for this to be a conspiracy it would have to include 2 police departments, fire fighters, emt's and the judge...come on . She's guilty & loving every minute of this support she's getting. Why do we need to know if this dad came in a separate car from his wife ? Also, some of the questions for the bartender were time wasters. Example, when there is an event are the tables moved back afterward ? Was there a band ? Huh
Shows officer O'Keeffe was a nice and very generous person but also a way of letting the jury see that the witnesses called by the prosecution have no credible evidence indication that Karen Read killed her boyfriend.
I’m about to make what will appear to be a controversial statement. I feel bad for Lally. Here’s a guy who does not make the decision regarding what cases he prosecutes…his boss, the DA does…he merely does as he is told and since he has a wife and kids to support and a mortgage to pay he does what he is told….all he can do when trying a case he does not believe in is to present himself as some lethargic, apathetic individual who has no passion for the case in order to send inferential or subliminal statements to the jury about his true feelings about the case while at the same time avoid getting fired. He’s probably trying the case alone to shield others in the DA’s office from the untenable position he is in.
Imo he was trying to look tough & cool, desperately trying to get Karens attention. Trying to casually get close to her, praying she would look at him.
I had not considered the responsibility of the place where okeefe drank that he may have been over served and this could have contributed to his impairment later on.
From a person who lives in the area. My offense is the cheering crowd that is evolved in a disturbing way ! The MEDIA attention focused on the living . An officer is deceased. His family and loved ones take the back seat to a girlfriend who has a disturbing presence in this case. RIP officer prayers that this trial focused .
the victims at this court are John and his family . 🙏 karen is not a victim , she has benn arrested for driven drunk and leaving the scene after she hit him with her car.
After the inept of collection of evidence ,there's zero proof his clothes that proctor held onto were even stabbed, it's so easy to lie when the chain of command was compromised.

I think that’s proof enough Karen didn’t hit him. John did not wear shoes in his house. Karrie and Jenn both testified. I think he took of his shoes to enter the Albert’s home and was there and at some point and went to leave and while putting his shoes on something went down and that’s why he is only found in one shoe.
Might be John Okeef knew about something involving Higgins and Albert and John being invited over to Albert's 34 Fairview home could have been a ploy to intentionally take him "out".
Something is going on here, that's for sure! Otherwise, why all of the lies & the investigation not done properly as in every other case?! I agree. The whole cover-up story is ridiculous imo. How many people would have to be in on this “conspiracy “??? She was drunk, she shouldn’t have been driving. She couldn’t even remember where se went after the Waterfall?? And who gets up before 5am, immediately freaking out that he did not come home. He could have crashed on someone’s couch!
