No they didn't, they asked him some questions (which the press in any free country are allowed to do with elected representatives like Bloom) and Bloom answered them, in this case all in a perfectly amicable way. Just because they didn't fawn over him it doesn't mean they belittled him.

Speaking as a white Brit born in the East End no less, we're mainly leaving because London because it's too fucking expensive. That's the fault of the 1% who build unaffordable properties that are used by their fellow 1%ers to park their money because they can afford to leave their properties empty all year. Listen to the interview, it sounds like Bloom was getting a bit fed up of party politics anyway. If Crick had destroyed Bloom's career, I highly doubt Bloom would have been on such affable terms with him.
