i accepted jesus as my saviour at the age of 35. i am in the vast minority. most people come to jesus at such a tender age. how can they know so much about god at 5 or 6? or even as a young teen? of course we know that god can change a person's heart. it's one of his miracles.

She can't even explain why she's arguing the non-existence of something that she doesn't believe exists. She knows God exists but chooses to reject Him so she can continue in her sinful life without any accountability and be able to sleep at night. People desire a certain thing to be true and then make the evidence fit it. Given that we are not omniscient, who is even to say that God has not given everyone enough evidence of his existence? Many just desire to reject Him and make the evidence be what they want it to be in their minds. God has made it so that anyone who wants to seek Him, there is enough evidence to support the inference.

@Mark Hi Mark, before I became a Christian, I was searching for the truth. My heart was open to finding God and he knew the sincerity of my heart. I was hungry for God but didn't know how to find him. I prayed and prayed that he would lead me to the truth. I heard about the LDS church and read the Book of Mormon. As I read I prayed and the Lord revealed to me that it was not the truth. I Also studied with the Jehova Witnesses because like I said before, I was searching. God also showed me that that was not the right way to go. I then met some Bible believing Christians and started going to church with them. It was then that God revealed the sin in my heart and life and that the only way that I could ever have a hope of going to Heaven, was through the blood of Jesus Christ. I confessed my sins to him and he forgave me that day ❤ My life was totally changed and he saved me and made me a brand new person! God gave me the assurance in my heart that he lead me to the truth. He is continually with me and gives me peace beyond my understanding. Even through these difficult times. I trust him. I love him and can't wait to see him some sweet day when he returns for his children 💕 😊

I've never been a Mormon, always a Christian who has a relationship with Jesus *cuz ya know, Mormons are not anywhere near close to being Christians*. Hello there! She has never been Mormon but was always a biblical Christian. I can’t remember the exact denomination, but that matters not. She had a couple of Missionaries visit her and her husband and since then she has studied and witnessed the biblical Christ to these and many more. Just wanted to give you an answer. Furthermore, the Bible tells us that our hearts are desperately wicked and deceitful (Jeremiah 17:9), and that we are to be very cautious about trusting it--which is why praying about truth and getting a feeling is so dangerous. Praying about what is true, is counter to Scriptural truth, and it essentially subjects truth to a feeling. The word “salvation” concerns an eternal, spiritual deliverance. When Paul told the Philippian jailer what he must do to be saved, he was referring to the jailer’s eternal destiny (Acts 16:30-31). @@vinster9165 that's kind of a good question, but kind of a bad question, but typical of vin smith who is not afraid to ask any question at all. can a person who asks jesus to save him from hell, who is thorougly convicted of his sin nature, and convinced that jesus can save, always receive the grace of god, and be saved from hell as a favor? specifically, can a homosexual who believes he is destined for hell because of sexual sin be saved from hell, even though he has no desire to quit? or how about a murderer? or a pedophile? or a serial killer? the short answer is: god sees all sin the same. you are a creature of sin, and any sin cannot be looked upon with the least degree of tolerance by god. when a christian goes to god, he is looking for mercy not judgement. luckily god is very tender. god is the source of all mercy. many people have proven god in times past, and god can change people's lives.

Elena I would say first of the the verse makes no such distinction between 'eternal marriage' and 'earthly marriage'. And also 1 Corinthians 7:7-9 the Apostle Paul recommends that people remain single if they can manage to not burn with passion. If Paul and Jesus both knew about this teaching of eternal marriage, why would Paul recommend people stay single, and why would Jesus not clarify this with the Sadducees in Matt 22:30?

The biggest problem with Mormonism is the fact that Hebrews were not in the American continent before Columbus. The point of the LDS church was to bring back early Christian teachings that use to be taught. LDS members can obtain salvation just as the early church fathers will also receive salvation. The purpose of church organizations are to bring people closer to christ so their heart is changed so that christ can work within us. Whether Mormon, Catholic, Methodist, Baptist, or any other Christian we all have one purpose and that is to come unto Christ. If stories in the Book of Mormon helps people come closer to Christ and build a love for Christ in their heart then they allow Christ to work within their own spirit and they have the desire to turn from sin and become followers. We have to look past the idea of the stories in the book of mormon consisting of actual event's just like we have to look past the parables of Jesus as if those stories were actually real events. The purpose of the stories are to bring people closer to Christ. Now you have to ask does the Book of Mormon cause people to come closer to Christ? Let's take a look at a example. As a Christian and a person that lives the teachings of Christ, would you say this scripture is accurate to what you believe? Would this scripture bring someone closer to Christ? The reality is the Book of Mormon stories, Bible stories, or others stories are ways we learn the best and don't have to be real event's but can be just stories to help us come closer to Christ. If we have Christ in our heart we become vessels God can use to fulfill his work.

My dear friend how do you explain John 1:1-14 how do you explain Isaiah 43:10 and in other words the entire bible. The New Testament has over 6,500 manuscripts and 36,000 early church quotations in the that make up 99,5 % of the New Testament and how do you explain the Dead Sea scrolls and other archeological bible evidence. That is why there are so “many religions.” Many people do not want to believe in a God who demands righteousness and morality, so they invent a God who makes no such requirements. There is absolutely no mention in the entire Bible about a special class of Melchizedek priests. Melchizedek is mentioned briefly in the Old Testament in two places (Gen. 14:18-20 and Ps. 110:1). In Genesis 14, Melchizedek is a king and priest who blesses Abraham and to whom Abraham gives tithes. Psalm 110, a royal Messianic Psalm, applies this priesthood of Melchizedek to Jesus who is also a priest and king (cf. Matthew 22:44; 26:64; Mark 16:19; Heb. 5:5-6). However, nowhere in the Old or New Testaments do we see the practice of ordaining males to the office of the Melchizedek priesthood. Jesus alone is mentioned in the New Testament as a priest after the order of Melchizedek (Heb. 5:1-4ff). Instead, the Bible teaches that all believers have priesthood authority (1 Peter 2:5, 9; Rev. 1:6; 5:10; 20:6). Each believer has the authority to preach the Gospel, baptize, and govern the kingdom of God on this earth. It is not something that is limited to males who are above the age of 12 or 18. One third of the angels have already been cast down from heaven there are definitely two types of angels mentioned in the Bible that have wings: cherubim (Exodus 25:20; Ezekiel 10) and seraphim (Isaiah 6). Cherubim and seraphim are two types of angels, possibly the two highest orders of angels. So, this much is clear, some angels do have wings.
