Saw an ortho who said I needed physical therapy which, when you don't have insurance, is WAY expensive so I've been scouring youtube for helpful videos. Hi Tina, Make sure you foam roll or use a lacrosse ball on your subscapularis as it is attached to the joint capsule. I have frozen shoulder doing these every day I am gaining some ROM back, I appreciate that you took the time to help us with this painful thing we are all going through since I broke my right humerus and super tuberosity this summer, what a journey I been on and your videos have helped me I just got back into my second set of PT, I am thankful for that two, because they are way better, then the first place I went to. Hi Lori, funny you mention the fracture. I am doing a post-humerus-fracture rehab series in a couple months. If you can, get some ESWT for the scar tissue. Take care
Thank you Doc for these excercizes from Hungary! It helps me to recover every day and enables me to do my job. It is already the part of my daily routine. I do it for about 4 weeks, and my pain in my both shoulder started to fade away, without any medical treatment. I am not 100% yet, but I do not give it up, takes weeks for sure. Wow! It’s amazing how your own body instinctively tells you what to do. I have been doing some of these movements after every shoulder/rotator cuff exercise but I was doing them because it felt better and sometimes necessary to feel more relax and loose. Thanks

Thank you so much for these videos! I have Adhesive Capsulitis in my left shoulder and am incorporating some of your stretches into the routine that my physical therapist has me doing several times a day. We're on a low fixed income, so I'll only be able to see my PT once a month (maybe) so as I'm becoming stronger and getting more range of movement, I've been independently looking for other exercises like yours to help me.

I've been using your video every day as a warm up before my physio exercises, after having 3 rc tendons and a bicep tendon sown back on. By working within my limits and being careful not to make things too sharp I surprised my physio by having really good moviment of my scapula by w9 even though my shoulder is frozen. I only started physio week 6. Thanks for the video. It's making a huge difference.
Great Nedine! thanks so much for sharing. When it's appropriate, get on my shoulder strengthening videos also. They don't have the most views but they are near and dear to my heart as I had a tear in my shoulder and it helped me overcome the weakness with strength

I m 6 months post op for a rotator cuff tear and I ended up with a frozen shoulder from the surgery. I ve been doing this routine daily . It s clearly what helped me the most. My shoulder is still far from being perfect but I ll keep doing it. Much better than only stretching in my opinion. You re really good 😂

I had done this routine just for stretching, but now that I'm in pain, it is really working. can't do the whole movement range, but I can move my shoulder & upper back mush more than yesterday. I'm not sure how this video pop up in my notifications BUT you Dr are exactly what I have been looking for because of the upper arm complaint I have had for almost 2 years. I feel like my arm pits and back of my upper arms are swollen. I have been to several doctors to help get some relief. I've had ultra sounds, mammograms and they can't find anything. I have researched the internet for anyone with the same symptoms. But approximately 2 weeks ago I read somewhere (bookmarked at home) that exercising may help with people with upper arm complaints. Mainly regarding people with frozen shoulder. I know what frozen shoulder feels like since I experienced it approximately 6 years ago. Extremely painful. It took me almost a year to work it out by forcefully using my arm, exercises, and walking the wall while waiting for my hair conditioner to work. Walk the walls people. Up, down, out and in. It works! So back to the exercises I read about. I realized I really don't move my arms that much and started "flinging" my arms about similar to your video but with no structure. I like your video really a lot and will follow your exercise instructions with you. I truly feel like this was a miracle to find you in my notifications and help relieve me of this complaint with my arms. Can't wait to get started in the morning and see if the swelling goes away in time. Thank you!!
I am so grateful for you video. I am using my left shoulder with less pain with a little more range of motion. I have lymphedema in the left arm. This has been a very painful year, but I am better in the last month since I found your video. You have made me more hopeful and less painful.

I had a very painful shoulder to my neck and was unable to lift my arm for a year.I went to a specialist doctor at the hospital and paid a lot money He did not offer treatment, but told me to go to exercise.And i met a Adam doctor on youtube I've been following Doctor's RU-vid for two months now. I can raise my arms And can lift things thank you very much
Another big thanks doc this help much getting rid of shoulder pain. It helps me a lot. I will do this as well as the exercises for the ears to get rid of tinnitus as well as the exercise for snoring. These are so good for my frozen shoulder of a couple of months now. It's helping. I'm going to PT later this week and maybe get an injection and I will keep doing these for the rest of my life because this sucks. It's not only painful but I feel vulnerable to a fall or a movement that could be very painful. My strength is good but the movement is limited
Thank you for this and other shoulder exercises. I feel less pain and can move my shoulder a lot more. I was wondering why my shoulder hurts so much as the X-ray shows nothing. It was getting worse, not only the pain, but also the mobility. After trying these exercises, my shoulder is a lot more mobile and I can go back to my normal work out routine. Looking forward to more effective exercises like these!

I work as a nurse and am challenged with not so much of a strong body. While I care for people I help them to get out of bed etc there’s a lot of supporting, pulling, pushing...I would love to learn how I can make my whole body stronger...I am confronted with recurring shoulder and back issues and while my chiro says you need to make yourself stronger he doesn’t show much of exercises I could do. Would be so grateful if you could whip up a routine I - and other caregivers could use to become stronger...greets from the Netherlands

Loving these videos.. thank you for posting them to help us with this debilitating issue. My problem is I can barely get my arm behind my back at all… how do I get that movement back so I can actually do the necessary exercise in the first place.. I have most of my forward movement but backwards is just so painful. Grateful for your time and expertise.

I Just had 5 weeks ago hip resurfacing surgery, and started with rehabilitatietraining but i had for months pain in my schouders. I thought it was Just stress for the surgery but after my hip surgery it become worse and now they diagnose me a frozen shoulder.. I'm so disepointed right now.. I was fighting for 7 years for my hip, and now.. I have take for at least 6 months rest with core training...
I reflect on that when I see pro athletes taking a year + off to rehab a shoulder etc. before going back on the field. Tiger only took 4 months off after the first back surgery and he ended up with 3 more surgeries. Patience, Roy. Find and emphasize what you can do and enjoy the progress. You are blessed in the middle of the challenge.
I love that this is active movement and not just static stretches, which is mostly what has been suggested. Any thoughts on serrapeptase to help with adhesions? Or prolotherapy? I will be doing both these videos dauly💕
I love the fibrinolytic enzymes and would include nattokinase and lumbrokinase. Make sure and take on an empty stomach. Prolo is great for unstable shoulders. I've questioned the use with shoulders like yours that need to increase their mobility. Maybe just prolozone with some lidocaine but one of the most effective treatments I use in my office is ESWT. I wouldn't go prolo until you get some ESWT (Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy)
Tried this for the first time today after a sleepless night with intense shoulder pain. Before the routine my range of motion lifting the arm was probably 2 inches, after the routine could lift the arm right above my head with very little discomfort. Truly amazed and relieved!!! The key with shoulders is repetition and persistence. Keep it up. Even though I don't have the most views on all of my shoulder videos, I am most proud of this series. You may want to get some extracorporeal shockwave therapy if there are adhesions or tendonitis. Take care
