In this review I look at every 18500 battery you can get today on Amazon and talk about some other options and why you may or may not want to consider them.

I ordered 2 pair (4 batteries) of the Panasonics from GetFPV for under $30 including ground shipping. Thanks for all the X-Lite videos you are doing. I'm a new guy and you're videos are priceless! BTW I'm using a Nitecore D4 Digicharger. I use it for all my rechargeable batteries. It does them all and sets itself properly when you put any battery in. 4 slots.

I literally cringed when you put the steel calipers against the plus and minus of that Samsung 18650. Then I recognized it's out of plastic.

Yes, protected cells will be a millimeter or 2 longer, to accommodate the protection circuitry.

One more to check out (that I have and seem very good so far) for dirt cheap on ebay search for: Efest IMR 18500. I got the purple ones, 4 for $7. Apparently well thought of and used in the vaping community as well.

I have a 11.1 v 2200 mah battery.im thinking it went bad only used about 6 times , as soon as I plug into balance charger the red light flashes.

Batteries Plus has the 18500 the Ander brand is an amazing product I found the generic charger that came with the ander even balanced the two cells

Good infor on Li-Fe vs Li-Ion and button vs non button batteries. Availability and shipping charges may change substantially for different countries (ie. outside US). Getting batteries in Australia can be painful. Amazon does not have a good range here and shipping US to anywhere else in the world is hideously expensive.

I've got my Panasonic at eBay for less than 14€ a pair incl shipping. But they are Lion batteries so you should be careful while charging. 4.2V will kill them early and maybe violently.

I use EBL on my 10000 Lumen headlamp because they are readily available at a bargain price and hold the rated storage.

I may have found some good ones on a site called orbtronic out of fl they are 18500 flat top 3.7 2040 mah made by panasonic i just ordered 2 cost was 15 bucks thats with shipping and there was a review that said works great on my new x lite check it out bro

You tackled the the Panasonic NCR18500A, has anyone tested them? They lack the deep discharge protection, i guess the gained space allows them to have 2040mAh

How much range with xm+? And which one go more between xm+and r xsr?

You dont understand what your asking about. They need to stop making the xm+ imo. Or they need to tell people the difference between the xm series and the rxsr. An xm+ and an rxsr are basically the same receiver. The only difference is telemetry. Xm+ does NOT jave telemetry. Rxsr has telemetry. Same receiver. Theres the difference. Please tell everyone else.

Hi guys,I was trying to get hold of the 18500 batteries in HK and couldn't find any. Decided to rip those batteries out from Canon DSLR batteries which are more abundant and it's the correct size. Hope this helps

Hmm my Canon DSLR uses small battery packs. No way an 18500 fits in there. Can you say exactly which one?

It's got to be one of these www.amazon.com/Canon-9486B002-Battery-Pack-LP-E6N/dp/B00NI3CSIS notice the rounded edge on one side. There should be 2x 18500 batteries in there. I bought knockoffs to try an it worked, although the capacity was pretty small (900mAh). My local drone shop (www.flycamhk.com) managed to get me these sweet 2040 mAh batteries www.lelong.com.my/panasonic-18500-2040mah-li-ion-battery-vaper-evic-lava-tube-e-cigar-aw-idiscovery88-I1297436-2007-01-Sale-I.htm Btw, awesome videos dude. keep it up!

That's really nice, man. Interesting that those EBL tested so good, because they are usually fake 18650. I had 1, tested and it had only 350mAh. LOL

That was my experience as well, that is why I trashed them at the start. But the 18500s seem to be ok.

I use to vape huge clouds and used all sorts of batteries including these. They are the best fake/cheap batteries you can get.

The ISDT C4 battery charger is a reliable and accurate charger, for example flat head 18650 batteries.

Good point. I love my ISDT chargers, but I haven’t been able to make myself pay for one of those yet, they are so expensive.

DroneRacer101 I know, ISDT battery chargers in general are not cheap (I speak out experience because I have 3 ISDT battery chargers at home ---> D2, SC-620, C4).

Never cheap out on LiPos. Don't buy anything that has two small lines (like the EBL ones) or "Dragon" on it. You will save a lot of money even if you buy the panasonics and a really good charger in long terms because you will buy that anyway later.

Not with a stock radio. They are pretty specifically sized for these batteries.

Because when I recorded this sanyo where no where to be found and Panasonic were only available from one place and were way overpriced like I showed in the video. I really made this one for the people that got the first batch of radios and there were very few options for batteries.
