For $6000, that 2S should have Magura 4-piston calipers, Turn Signals, a little larger COLOR Display, a Suspension Seatpost like the ThudBuster LT, a BLuetooth Speaker, Rear Saddlebags, a Phone holder, and a Color-Matched Helmet 🤷🏻‍♂️ And that sound coming from the drive unit has really gotta be reduced too... With Buell Motorcycle heritage running through its veins, I'm sure it's a very capable quality ebike, but again, for $6000, there's still alot to be desired in my opinion.

The long-range class III 2s is exactly what I'm looking for. I was preparing to pre-order this bike until I heard that unbelievably horrible noise. Love the bike but that annoying noise is a deal breaker for me.

That bike with dual batteries is as big as or reminds me of a 1972 Cadillac. Put a set of cattle horns on the front.👍

For the price, we're buying new technology. It removes the concerns that I have about regular middrive motors. But for the money, I either have to see a bunch of owner reviews or preferably test ride one. I'd also expect some choices on the saddle and perhaps a suspension saddle post. I would have liked to see the hill climb test on your regular road on the edge of town, though this hill implied this might do better than any class 2 that you've tested before on it. I'm invested in two Lectric 3.0's and have the Trike on order. It'd be tough to spend more money on one bike than I've spent on three Lectrics.

I never realized just how quiet the motor on my e-bike was till I rode a really noisy e-bike the other day. Now that is something that I will be testing for in any future e-bike purchase.

The noise comes from the type of gears they use in the mid drive. This one obviously has spur gears which is one of the noisiest type of gears. Helical gears would reduce the noise to virtually nothing. All car manufacturers use helical gears in their gearboxes. There's such a rush to get e-bikes to the market that manufacturers haven't understood the extra value of helical gears.

Looking at the Black Friday deal Fuell is offering. But I agree with several of the comments. The motor noise is awful, that weight of a bike (and cost) the brakes should be 4 piston, and the monitor should be color (that’s pennies difference). Disappointing.

Sounds like the mid drive gears are spur gears which are noisy. For the price of the bike they should get the manufacturer to use helical gears. Costs a bit more but hey look at the price of this bike. Spur gears were phased out of car gear boxes way back in the 1960s!!!

It sounded like it was an electronic noise so it was more of a programming thing - at least that's what I was told. Could be the gears as well though.

why is the motor making that annoying sound . I have a specialized turbo vado 3.0 , with brose mid drive motor , that motor is so quiet , I forget I am riding an ebike. This noise from the motor is a deal breaker for me, there are some motors that are loud specially the geared hub motors , but this motor whines and it will be hard to ride 5 - 10 miles listening to that whine.

For the premium they’re charging for these bikes, I’d expect a better looking ride. It kinda looks like someone’s garage project. These bikes are HEAVY too

The bikes design is geometrically perfect for mobility and speed..you have to take in account that this is not a bike its a e bike with motor and 2 batteries which is heavy...its not about looks..

The Gates drive is awesome the bike looks okay however that screaming and weak performance isn't going to cut it at 6K pricetag there is so much better value for that price out there already. LOL Recon and Hummer can't even move units with dual 750w motors at the 4K price tag. This bike is just in a terrible position it's not as refined as the other high-performance light e-bikes and it doesn't have the range or speed of the heavier-duty big battery bikes its weight put it in competition with

With all the interesting features aside they certainly don't have the average consumer in mind I honestly feel the step through should be $3000 tops and the duel battery $3,500 tops , my duel battery fat tire folder doesn't have a couple of the features these bikes do but I'm getting 80-100 miles a charge my batteries drain in tandem goes 30mph and costs a fraction of the costs of these bikes and doesn't sound like a spaceship taking off some of these bikes companies are outta touch with reality

I believe that you could say this about a Tesla, Fiskar, etc. Or for gas powered, a Lexus, Genesis, etc. They are after a specific slice of the market. Maybe they'll go down market later.

*Interesting bike, but for $6495, the components should be a lot better. My bike, for example, has a color display with more metrics, and the same brakes. It costs 1/3 of the Flluid 2S. Get high grade components and lower the price to $4995. The demographic you're aiming for is not going to purchase this bike as presently configured for $6495.*

The price of these things, kills the point of ebikes. I know they have a lot of new tech, but would not like to pay more than $3000 for any ebike.

Ugly....dated looking....and waaaaaaaaaay overpriced. Those welds are sloppy and it looks like it has far too many proprietary parts. I understand this was "designed" by a Motorcycle builder....looks like he put in 10% effort then forwarded the "specs" to his lazy and otherwise unemployable nephew.
