Fantastic work, I built this two years ago and I used indycals to replace the Fujimi ones as they had the fern leaf decal which is missing in the kit, the driver’s were New Zealanders which explains the fern leaf, please don’t think I’m picking fault I’m not, looking forward to the next video
@@TheDanCave My decals weren't very good, it was only when I saw the Indycals ones that I noticed the fern leaf symbol, I'm ASD so notice silly little things is all, model on
I have used IndyCals and try to steer clear, but they do have some schemes that you can't get elsewhere. But yeah I get the details point, that's why I sometimes just prefer to not focus on details and just enjoy the creative flow. It can be too easy to get bogged down in them.
Hi Dan, awesome result! Just have question - how do you manage varnish between coats? I mean between coats you need to wait for ~10 min. Do you need to clean airbrush each time between coats ? Cause i am affraid that varnish will dry in aibrush and it will be hard to cleanup it. Regards.
Hi there, with 2K clear coats I leave it in the paint cup between coats. It takes many days for it to cure fully so it won't dry in the paint cup. After the 3 coats the airbrush is cleaned using standard lacquer thinners.
