I tried it and water settled down while my youghurt was up,so I ended up sieving the water out to get my yoghurt. Please what did I do wrong?

Please when is the right time to add my sugar or sweetener, Can I add it before draining the whey or after it's has been drained to Greek Yogurt?

Wait until after you drain the yogurt before you add your sweetener. I like to use my hand mixer to beat the yogurt with after I complete strain the yogurt to make it light and fluffy.
