This is the face off for "The Superfight" on January 29th on HBO. Tim the headbutt king Bradley takes on Devon Alexander in a battle of undefeated champions. Shit I'm excited. This is the face off with Max Kellerman.
Both of these guys are so chill, especially Tim. I don't care who wins this fight, just as long as it's a great fight. Good luck to both of them :) Can't wait.
This was an interesting Face Off. Bradley seemed to be humble towards Alexander when his credit was due but Alexander was giving nothing away. I respect Bradley a lot more in this exchange because he seems more honest and straight up about the situation but Alexander is stubborn... This will prove to be the difference in the fight. An interesting fight but im gona go with Bradley for the W because he is far more mature and highly talented...
@AliRidah619 you can look at that in different ways, bradley could be more nervous because he realises he's got a tough test in alexander but you could also look at alexanders lack of nerves of being a sign of over confidence and that they're taking bradley lightly which would be a big mistake.
In the Kotelnik fight Alexander was overdoing it early because he was headlining a big show in his hometown for the first time (think Zab Judah V Baldomir) and they put him in with a Ukranian that wouldn't go away. I think he's still got way more entertaining dynamic talent yet to be exposed. Bradley looks like a mini-hagler - should be a good fight.
Urango was 29 years old when Alexander beat him. Alexander lost his bout against Kotelnik, I don't care what the judges scorecards say. Kotelnik won that fight, 116-112. Bradley beat Witter when Witter was still a dangerous opponent, can't say the same for Alexander. Urango was giving Alexander a tough fight before Alexander landed that uppercut. Before losing to Alexander, Urango beat Bailey, Ngoudjo & Ben Rabah. Average opponents at best. One could argue that Holt wasn't a great (continued)
i like it both guys are good but for now im picking bradley i think hes more fluid in his motion when he throws and moves his feet but who knows maybe alexander rises to the occasion and comes in a far better fighter
the thing that most of fans dont know is boxing is not just skills power an fitness all boxers in professional level has all of that personality and will what makes u great and these things either u have it either not training hard never gives u strong personality i think that ali won over forman and fraizer becouse of his amazing strong personality
Hard not to like both of them. Sad that its not selling,,, this fight in the UK will sell more...lol... Hope we get a clear winner... so the Khan match-up is for real.
@gl514 lol good point but if alexander wins in dominate fashion people will be shocked and yes douglas victory over tyson was the biggest in boxing history he was a 42 to 1 underdog lol
@gl514 opponent because he got the fight w/Bradley because he accidentally head-butted Torres and then simultaneously KO'd him. However, Bradley was able to overcome getting knocked down hard twice and in all the other moments was dominating that fight. Bradley was also dominating Campbell before the accidental cut. Bradley's resume is much stronger than Alexander's. (continued . . .)
Best 140lb fight to be made just coming at the wrong time and with a horrible promotion. Everybody and their grandmother should know about this match up and nobody does. They cant even sell tickets and its being held in Detroit! Shame on whoever promoted this.
@gl514 I will be surprised if Alexander wins this fight and will come here and admit my wrong if Bradley loses. Post script: No, Timothy, this fight will not be a "Hearns-Hagler". There is a 99.9% chance that doesn't happen. Decision victory will be the likely outcome for either fighter.
@BoxingBadBoy77 very great point thats what i was telling my lil brother devon is acting hella cocky but i still think he will find away to beat bradley some way some how.
Bradley going to win by UD, Bradley has to much experince to much heart and Devon is to waste full in the ring, I can not wait to see Khan vs Bradley going to be a great fight.
@AliRidah619 Alexander beating Bradley wouldn't "shock the world". James "Buster" Douglas Knocking Out Mike Tyson shocked the world. Cassius Clay beating Sonny Liston in their first fight shocked the world, hell Jason Litzau beating Celestino Caballero last year would be more shocking than Alexander beating Bradley. I rank Alexander #3 at 140 (one spot ahead of Maidana and two spots behind Khan & Bradley). Alexander is a good fight, but, I don't see him winning (contd . . .)
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha Can't be knocked out!!!
@GiantSandles To win against the man that K.O.'d him in the FIRST ROUND....I don't care who you are if someone knocks you out in the first round that plays with your mind. Plus Prescott is a much better boxer than Maidana...Maidana's foot work is awful he's a great puncher but a horrible boxer.
