I love item randomizers, wish you did more or them. The other players definitely know you can out play them with movement but beat you with the puzzle logic. Master that and you could be one of the g.o.a.t.'s of rando's goats.

The chance of an item being in the same place depends on the item. If there is only 1 of it. Then it is 1 in total number of items chance. If its missiles or e tanks there is a higher chance.

Just want to say out of all the Super Metroid speedrunners I've watched over the years I give props to you Oats! Just watched a 3 way 100% race on GDQ from a few years back and you had my vote. DAMN good work by all 3 of you! Never stop! cept, maybe to play Return of Samus on the 3ds, or Dread on the switch. I played this game since it's release on the SNES and had no problem beating it shortly after i got it, but you made me look like a 3 year old playing a PS5 or something. Mind = Blown as always! I was kinda confused why Oats wasn't in GO-mode waaaaay earlier. He can deal with Ridley even in SMI, so he should be able to deal with him he way he was pretty easily, even without heat protection. Depending on the exact difference between Gravity and Grav+Varia of this specific rando even I, who has never managed to do Ridley in an RBO setting, would be able to do it.

Hey there, I have been looking through the net for a Super Metroid Randomizer file that can be transferred over to an SNES or even an SNES cart if one was so inclined (Not to a computer/laptop), and I was just wondering if you could provide me with the link to said file, because I would love to be able to play this hack. I am not looking for an easy/casual, or a normal mode. I want one that will be very challenging where everything (Even the morph ball) is moved to a difficult location. On my first randomized run I got Screw Attack as my first item. I don't remember where the morphing ball was, but the bomb was the last item I got lmao.

the super metroid link to the past randomiser solves the issue that the SM randomiser has - there's not really enough major items and way too many missiles/supers/pbombs
