'Full on attack!' Reaction to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Netflix claims | Palace Confidential.
If you thought the first three episodes of Harry and Meghan were damaging for the royal family, the next three take things up a gear. That’s the view of Daily Mail Diary Editor, Richard Eden, who describes the show as ‘a fully on attack’ and a ‘hard watch’.
Eden adds that despite the Sussexes’ desire for privacy, they reveal lots of personal events that the rest of the royals might be unhappy about.
‘You imagine when you’re making those intimate dealings with your family public like this, I’d be horrified if that was my own family,’ he says.
Meanwhile the Mail on Sunday’s Assistant Editor Kate Mansey believes that despite the length of the series, we didn’t get to the heart of the reasons behind Megxit.

Unfortunately Harry was a dense immature 12 year old when Diana died. I believe he never saw her issues like William did. William saw everything and was old enough to understand that while Diana was a wonderful woman she wasn’t a saint. She put William in the middle of it. Proof that what you're saying is completely false: The Queen's autobiographer Robert Hardman has explained that the Queen loved Harry and so did he and she always was concerned for him. William & Catherine had the cottage until after George was born. Eugenie & Jack lived there until August. Meghan & Harry lived there & while waiting for their apartment in Kensington to be finished. The Queen stepped in to give them Frogmore so they could have everything set up prior to the birth of their first child. She didn't do that for the others. What stuns me is the fact that this series was set to be released with the expectation that the late Queen would still be alive. The hurt and shock she would have been subjected to, not to mention the toll it would have taken on her fragile health had she still been with us, is unthinkable. After her passing, we know that Harry and Megan edited heavily, which implies it was even more offensive to the RF than its current state. I happened to watch a video yesterday about a woman who was grabbed by the Nazis and thrown into Auschwitz. She was a teenager at the time and somehow she survived the starvation, the death camps, the crematoriums, the disease, the abuse, the freezing cold etc etc. She survived the deliberate Nazi cruelty and deliberate murders all around her every day for years. In the interview she said she was NOT a victim. Once the war was over she got a job and got on with her life. After my sister badmouthed me and made up stories that denigrated my character to the relatives, it took me 15 years to find myself tolerating my sister so we could have an amicable relationship at family events- unfortunately, when she thought she had me on side, she would ring me half inebriated and start the same rubbish against our sister-in-law who I’ve always had a close bond and I knew my sister’s accusations weren’t true. I agree 100% with Richard Eden. No way were William and Catherine jealous. Nor do I think Charles and Camilla were! They expected the new married couple to be a splash, that's why they sent them out on high profile appearances and tours. But what they did expect them to do is know their place in the heirarchy and not try to push themselves ahead ot it. They expected Meghan to comply with protocol, ie, don't wear black to engagements, wear a hat when on an engagement with the Queen, walk behind William and Kate, etc. THIS is what they refused to do and why they got negative feedback from the royals.

She wanted to go back to Hollywood so she could be “famous” in the way she’d always wanted but could never achieve on her own talent. You forget: an apartment almost identical to William and Catherine’s WAS being prepared at Kensington Palace for Meghan and Harry! Itwas meant to be very close by…next door or a few doors away. The Sussexes REJECTED the huge Royal apartment because they didn’t want to be neighbors with W and C! That’s why they asked the Queen to give them Frogmore Cottage. They seem more upset that she wasn’t alive to watch it. Everyone knew this documentary & the book was coming out but they just didn’t foresee the Queen passing away before she got to see it. Harry & Meghan wanted her to see or hear what they were saying. Harry more so as he seems pissed about her sitting quietly while William yelled at him. Siblings yell at each other no matter the age if one is disrespecting another family member especially if it’s a parent under attack. Sure do miss seeing the Cambridge children out & about. But their safety comes above all else. Why Meghan & Harry are showing their kids now is weird. Harry pushing a stroller with no bump of a body under a blanket made no sense as Lilbet is what 16 months old big enough for child’s form to be noticeable. Mmm maybe me being over critical. Thought Archie’s hair was a beautiful dark russet colour in one frame then it looked just plain brown in another frame Archie’s eye colour wet from blue to very dark brown. Once I’m overthinking

An American RU-vidr called SueMe picked up on what Harry said in episode 5 regarding their relocation to New Zealand, South Africa etc, and Harry said it was in Jan 2020 that he had discussed this issue of relocation with his father and he said it was already 2 years in the making by then. This is hard evidence that Harry & Meghan had already planned on leaving even before they got married.

Harry was the one who wanted the move to Africa. When they were leaving, Megan said at one point that she wanted to see scripts from A list producers/directors/writers. (She received none) Then she stated that she was open to playing a superhero. Hollywood seems to have said, New Number, Who Dis? Netflix has been sinking a bit and grabbing a deal with Diana's son (Here in the States, that's pretty much all he is) would be seen as a source of profit. She may have sold Harry on leaving his family by exploiting his love of Africa without ever having any intention of living there.

The female assistant editor in this interview mentions that H and M were in Nottingham Cottage at Kensington Palace estate,a small residence, whilst William and Kate and their 3 children were in the much bigger property on the estate. However, she didn’t mention Kate and William lived in Nottingham Cottage whilst in London between 2011 and 2013, so it was ridiculous for H to complain when his own brother and sis in law lived there in their early years of marriage. As the editor said the Queen gave them Frogmore Cottage so they knew Nottingham Cottage was only ever going to be temporary making it disingenuous to make it out they were hard done by.

I have a family member who behaves just like Harry. Expecting an apology for something they caused,; for their unreasonable behavior. There is nothing you can do about it, It's useless. You can never placate them, they will never be satisfied. There's a chip missing resulting in a faulty thinking process. The more guilty they are, the more self-righteous they become and the louder their voices, and the angrier they get.

One of the worst parts in my opinion, is that this entire series was filmed and completed without the knowledge that QEII wouldn’t be here to see it. That’s so heartbreaking! No one is talking about that though. Great episode, really well done. Thank you for clarifying the situations that were mentioned in the "docuseries" as facts without a shred of proof. Good to hear your personal observations and involvement in these situations. I have heard many people saying how they could see how hurt Meghan and Harry were and they obviously believed everything that was shown was the truth. It needs to be pointed out that there was not any proof for most of their claims, just a lot of drama and histrionics. Watching from Texas!
