@@davimathias6721 Brazil have been eliminated in the quarters by mediocre teams in 4 of the last 5 world cups. The one time they made it to tbe semi, they got demolished by German. So its only fair not to expect much from them.
@@mauromatos3124France in 2006 was very good, Holland in 2010 was also good, in 2018 despite the defeat to Belgium, Brazil was clearly better in that match, there were still controversial refereeing moves that FIFA itself admitted the error, in 2022 Brazil played better than Croatia the entire game, our best player Neymar scores a beautiful goal and the team was unable to hold on to the result, Croatia only had 1 shot on goal the entire match, in 2014 Neymar's injury really shook the entire team, but what what happened in that match is almost inexplicable
People underestimated Brazil way too much, even the Brazilian media. They thought Brazil was gonna get a beating. Brazil's coach is very good. Good for him for preparing the squad for this game. Brazil has great players still. Respect Brazil!
I don't its quite right to say ppl are wrong about Brazil and that they are under-rated. Brazil are in transition and the younger very talented players are coming through and getting important match time with a new manager. Let them breath, Brazil will find their way back. This was a very good win by them.
stop going overboard. Brazil got a lucky win due to Southgate picking Dunk who should not be anywhere near this team, making a mistake. If England has a better coach who knows how to coachi elite players and attacking football, Brazil would be smashed by England and they would be destroyed by any European team with a good coach because I found Brazil low quality
@@danielakanji7305 I know English coaches are bad to mediocre, that is why I hope the rumour that Guardiola wants to coach England after Man City is true. England under Guardiola would be different story, no Maguire, Dunk, Gallagher, Gordon or Henderson in the team. In comes TAA, Eze, Mainoo, Lewis, Elliot White and an attacking pattern of play that gets England playing to the potential if the players.
The best English players at their clubs play with great foreign players with great coaches. Then they get to England with Maguire and Chilwell and Gallagher and Henderson and a third rate coach like Southgate!! That’s the problem
@@myearsgotyouthsystem8802Tbf not all England players are mediocre. Mainoo and Bellingham are an example of this. Mainoo isn't better than Gavi, but he sure has better physical abilities that separates him from a regular, Spanish player that can play with the ball. Bellingham is Bellingham. Walker is a proper RB that not many can hang with, and Phoden is the Stockport Iniesta. These are good players, but not world class which the media portrays them as.
See this is what everyone in Europe want: An English geezer having hopes for England in the Euros, only to underwhelmingly exiting the tournament with another Southgate masterclass and the geezer shouting „Oh, f*ck off!!“ while downing another pint.

@@BC-th3mx Thanks, finally someone speaking facts. I think we all can agree that Brazil isn't at their best atm but historically Brazil has and probably will always be the stronger team. History cannot be changed.

@@arafatahmed3454at least with this game you can't blame the players when Southgate picked them. For example chilwell was the worst player on the pitch and he's not good enough for the team. The good thing is this is a friendly so a good manager would take the players that didn't perform and make sure they're nowhere near the team during Euros
I didn't realize Vinicius Jr was so terrible at finishing. 1v1 against the keeper and only got off a slow dribbling shot that overrated, self-proclaimed-fastest-man-on-the-pitch Kyle Walker was able to catch up to. And the kid who scored for Brasil is probably worse. Brasil's xG was 2.8 but only managed to score just 1. Brasil is as overhyped as England.
Funny.... ''one of the worst Brazil sides ever''. Brazil's coach DEBUT, a lot of injuries, a lot of young players starting their international careers... but still, winning... and should be 3, 4-0 to Brazil. Even with this ''bad side'', Brazil have more talent than any other country in the world. Clear to see. But we know the agenda.
Yes and no, England definitely used to be heavily overrated but they’ve developed probably a top 5/6 team in the world in the last 4/5 years, they’ve got the most depth in full backs, lots of great wingers, Kane a brilliant top 3 striker in the world , a world class midfielder, strong solid midfield with foden, rice and Bellingham but their CB’s and goalkeeper really lead them down and their manager has no idea what he’s doing
Even with the "worst" Brazil of recent times versus the best England of all time, England still lost. Brazil could have put 3 V 0. The English media talks a lot.

Absolutely, both of them are fine footballers. Bruno seems to adapting the English style of keeping the ball at the back and not passing vertically he had very good opportunities to do it but passed it back to the defence.
@@redpandagency He actually played VERY well this match. He controlled the possession for Brazil lots of times, and gave some key passes, one to Vinicius behind England's defense and some to the wings.
And worse yet it's a Brazil team with tons of newbies to the team. This is very far away from the strongest team that Brazil can assemble. Some of that due to injuries and squad cut offs. Having a lot of fringe players and inexperienced youth, yet Brazil still beat them in a quite convincing performance. An England squad at about 97-98% full strength 😂
@@dantekratos5395no England wasn’t 97% or 98% full strength. That’s bs. Three key players weren’t playing. But yep. Brazil played so well even without some of Brazil’s big names
I think it's obvious some English players have them flimsy feet, they just cannot kick the ball without aiming for either the Moon or France. They put a lot of pressure in Brazil throughout the game and all that amounted to nothing.

People say that because Brazil did not play with Neymar, Casemiro, Marquinhos, Allison, Ederson, Militao, Martinelli and Gabriel. England lost to a team that played 5 starters with their first cap. They lost to a coach in his first debut game. A 17 year old almost scored twice at Wembley. Paqueta was rubbish, Raphinha is great but England has a better winger who is in better form (Foden). Rodrygo is out of form at Madrid as well. England played with many 1st team players and the only real excuse they had, was not playing Saka and Kane. With all due respect, the rest should have won from this Brazil side. If Brazil would've been clinical, it could've been 3-0.
Considering how England were playing at home, in a friendly, where there gave up a bunch of great chances and didn't create much. They had some really talented in form players (remember, Southgate himself said he selected players based on form), who were nullified by an inexperienced team playing together internationally, coached by a new coach in his first international game. Surely Southgate, at 0-0, in making substitutions would have gave instructions on how to break down the Brazilian defense. But the substitutions did little to move the attacking needle in England's favor.
Can we also give credit to the Brazilian back 4, for shutting down the England attack? I was really impressed with PSGs Beraldo and Fabrico Bruno(was my first time watching him play)- they both really solid and did well to build up from the back and avoid any press. it’s really great to see Brazil re-building their squad with their local based players🎉

Don’t understand why McGuire n chilwell are on the roster. These players are horrendously performing n not deserve to be in the team. Southgate can’t play attacking soccer
The reason Chilwell is there is because Shaw is injured and Trippier who sometimes covers there is in poor form and getting old. That and there’s a significant lack of options for england at LB - especially players with experience.

I don't think he's intentionally over-cautious. Southgate just doesn't know anything else. He's under-evolved. He doesn't know how to build systems of attack that also include the ability to recover from turnovers. So always keep plenty deep, leave it up to the frontline to progress from a starting point 40 yards from goal and, usually, leave it to individuals to figure it out. He's an analog coach in a digital world.
Great marketing by the EPL as always. The English and a big chunk of the world believe england has the best players every single year. It is mental! Brazil with an almost B team...way more technical.
Some are def overrated but I think it’s also the style of play in England that limits them internationally. A lot of them are worse technically than the other big countries and it gets exposed once those players are outside the prem setting

@@garyanderton I don't dispute that. Pep changed football all around (in the Prem, in Bundesliga, in women's football, whereever you watch you can see his influence, if you look close enough) I just think, benefitting directly from the tactical knowledge and discipline that Pep installs in his own players, was obviously easier for Spain and Germany, since they just had more players at Barca/Bayern, who actually trained under Pep himself, than England has players at City.
Southgate is awful, Englands link up play was sluggish, there didnt seem to be any tactics or plans in the final third, players looked lost as to what to do in front of goal. Southgate has England set up as a defensive team, where that is one of Englands weakest area's. He's had planty of chances to try new setups and tactics, but it's now too late.
