Thank you so much for teaching the in detailed work flow. As a beginner I have checked hundreds of post-processing video, some how today this video came up in suggestion and I got an advance way to edit my milky way images. You a got a new subscribers. Love from India. Clear Skies!
Awesome John. There are definitely a couple of extra photoshop steps that I’ve been missing out on. Can’t wait to give those a go to pull out a bit more detail. Cheers!
I see you shoot with an a7rII, I've already got an a7 IV myself but I'm considering getting a second body for a Ha bypass modification. I've seen some conflicting resources regarding internal IR LED leaking in these sony cameras. Have you had any issues? Also, where did you go to mod your camera? Excellent work as always.
Thanks mate, the sony cameras can be tricky to modify, if not done correctly you can get IR leaks. Make sure you choose a reputable company to modify. I now use spencers for my modifications
Not that I'm aware of, profile correction in LR then the only other thing in ptgui is the frame luminosity blending to stop or blend changes in luminosity between frames, is that what you mean?
I didn't know that, but in my experience if you don't do profile corrections for vignette in LR then you sometimes see luminance gradients, maybe it's just the lenses I'm using. But good to know cheers! 🍻
