Huh, I got him on my very first time doing the tutorial. I didn't see a shadow but heard the footsteps and something splashing in the water. Scared the hell out of me.
Usually some game engines have a command that shows the game in "fullbright" or "unlit", which basically disables lighting. This might help in especially dark areas or when noclipping around. For that last floating question mark my idea would be to teleport yourself above it, unpause and read it as you're falling down. 😂 Really cool video, keep it up!
Dude i hate the tutorial because one time i was messing around in the pool computer part and because i think i was there for too long i heard footsteps in the water behind me that made my heart drop
I thought that this was going to be an overview of all the secrets of Voices of the Void in rapid-fire fashion, including the tutorial. I never dreamed that someone could make an hour-long video ON JUST THE TUTORIAL.
58:48 The arm of some creepy shadow demon appeared for a single frame here! It also showed up in this very room, during Vinesauce Joel's Part 19 stream on his attempt to explore the tutorial secrets, at 2:40:24. You can see more of its limbs there.
@@Sigmaskibid It's possible it could be the, like, Spider Argemia model in all black getting loaded in at 0,0,0 or something. But we have no way to tell, and VotV is precisely the type of game to do this on purpose.
Absolutely agree. Noit ais a fucking masterpiece. I've never seen anyone esle really talk about it. Theirs SOO many secrets in Noita that if you don't look up or search for you'll never know about.
One guide to this game is already a fully-fledged game. I am fascinated by this semi-liminal environment. She looks menacing, but at the same time, comfortable.
The story behind it is, Jolly spent around 7 hours in the tutorial on stream looking for all the easter eggs, only to reach the end and have it crash. Dr. Nose was in the chat when it happened. It's in Jolly Wangcore's stream archives if y'all wanna give it a look. Bloody hilarious stuff.
The only good video i’ve seen of somebody doing this, only other one i’ve seen had no voice commentary and they were trying to make it “spooky” by including a corny ARG in their video
No . It meant that they were attempting to include a deeper inner secret meaning. Both either as the character or the game itself. The user in question who they're referring to is the voices network. Despite what he might've said was negative he is one of the first staple examples of valuable information with a clean, sustainable format. But there certainly something not right about that bloke.. And I mean it in a positive sense as this is meant to be a spooky game, and him taking it into this slightly different outlook between tutorial guide and secret story is quite fascinating on my k Opinion@@DeerEwe
You can press 1-0 on your keyboard to quick hold your items (Viewable top of the screen, note that the numbers *select* the hotbar, and when you put something into your inventory via keybinds it takes the spot you're selecting). While holding an item, not grabbing, you can then press alt+r to drop them(If your hands cannot reach the location it will drop at your head.) and Alt+m1 to throw them. Pretty sure while grabbing an object you can quickly press alt to put them into your inv. while holding it though you can press R to do the same thing and unequip it to your inventory again.
Enjoying the consistent voices content, keep it up if you can lol. The tutorial secrets are so convoluted and weird, I would've never figured any of it out myself
I’ll say that there is more to the maze level that you haven’t found. Try hugging the wall on the right as you go, and you’ll find a secret place, including the dark poolroom you got to afterwards in the maze. I haven’t tried going further than the dark poolroom though, so there may be more secrets in the maze.
There is another place that you can end up in the maze. Its like an apartment complex with a tree at the other side of it. I don't think that there's anything over their, but it was fun to find.
Wait.. you don’t know what’s in the tutorial…. you did find the pool.. good luck, still watching and you’re finding the things still. It’s basically just insane to attempt without help of other.
@@1ferax nearly a impossible task to be expected to figure out everything without the community. Think that was the idea when they created this gem of a game. To have secrets in the weirdest places. Love the videos btw. Can’t wait to see what the devs add next. Curious about the staircase in the woods.. that’s a irl thing, so it just fun to see little secrets like that.
im pretty sure that you can see the game lob trough UUE4, if that lets you see entities spawned or what triggers a "sound" event (for example the roars in the labyrinth) it's gonna be huge
You should try loading into different levels with UE4U, theres some pretty cool stuff hidden out there, just increment the number and see what you can find.. I sure was surprised lol
I have a theory... So it seems the tutorial is a representation of someone's mind right? Remember that car the aliens drop along with some body parts? It was an ASO van, and I counted at least 3 bodies with all the parts that the aliens dropped. Perhaps that's the accident the tutorial talks about, on the surface level would have the tutorial because the person must've worked at ASO, so they would know how to operate all this. However, somewhere deeper, there are darker memories that must be kept away. The secret part is the person's subconcious mind, a vast and scary place. They must've survived the accident somehow, but probably feel survivor's guilt. Also, on one of the bridges in the game you can see the figure of a hanging body at night... could've been anyone but who knows.
2:00 "Noot noot... noot noot... Nooot noot... NOOT NOOT!!! *BOOM*" reminds me of the video with the penguins, where one is smashing the explosive barrel against the floor until it explodes... 😂😂😂
i was playing this for the first time just now, tipped the desk over to get up to where the monster spawned for you, but there was a paper that I didn't know how to read, so i grabbed it and walked out just fine. I get back to the bottom, realize i needed to right click not interact and press E, then i went back and read the paper hoping it would do something, but I guess not reading it the first time messed it up? nothing happened. i'm playing on the 0.8 version so i guess it broke or a troll to people who experienced it before.
Thanks for introducing me to UUU, it has allowed me to do some things I've been wanting to (such as exploring the test maps...). :) Do you know if there's a way to spawn props using it?
@@1ferax I really hope there's a way to spawn items, I want to get the floats from the tutorial level in story mode but they're too big to put in the inventory and thus can't be put in the mailbox >:(
@@1ferax I figured it out! Using the "EnableCheats 1" command and then using the "summon" command in conjunction with a tool like "FModel" (that allows me to see the id's of props and entities) I figured out how to spawn things in! Too bad I've only been able to summon in only three of the floaties...
in 0.8.0 the room after completing the slate room and climbing up is now a dirt pit??? there are 3 boxes in the bottom with random junk and cds, but nothing relevant to progression of anything within the tutorial. . OTHER THAN the location of the third radiation capsule
hey i recently played this game and i was in the room at 0:14 . i waited about 30 mins to an hour (i had to go get food and accidentally left the game on) suddenly i heard the doors behind me open? the doors i walked through at the start. i looked over and they were open. thats all i got to since i had to eat but does anyone know anything about that?
there is a "second" part of the tutorial easter eggs from the maze where you end up in a different room but i dont want to spoil to much but youll know its different
29:06 I hate this part so much and I hope the dev gets rid of it. The mystery and intrigue was completely replaced with frustration and anger as I tried around 10 times to land "properly" before I gave up. What a waste of time.
Please, I beg of you. Add some jump scare warnings because I’m halfway through and my heart is right now out of my chest. I just want to turn off the video but I’m too curious
That's all part of the fun dude. Luckily legit jump scare monsters are rare. Edit: There are two spots that have the messed up monster. Right in the beginning when he tries to kill it, and near the end when he's noclipping into various new locations.
I actually didn’t know about the key hole. I did get tips to press E on tiles in the starting area. I was hitting dead ends after hours of trying to figure it out on my own So I had a few hints on where I should look around but I tried not to spoil it for myself.
I cant understand the people getting mad because you may or may not have used a guide. ???. I dont think any one guide has all the secrets anyway, and we dont know if there are secrets we dont know about. For all anyone knows you can do a konami code in the right x,y and turn fucking super sayain, this game is so insane theres just no way to know when we got all the secrets.
