This is why I pray over my children relentlessly. RELENTLESSLY. The world has really gone to hell. The things that people do and what people are on is getting worse by the day. I legit fear for my children’s safety when they get to middle school age-adulthood. I know I have to let them go and see the world for themselves but it’s scary!

I agree Q, I used to love the mall. Now if I go I have to be there when they first open and I normally end up only going into Zara and Nordstrom. I barely last an hour in there before I’m over it. Too many teenagers and I’m always in fear of someone shooting up the place. It’s sad.

Same….if I have to go, I go in the morning as soon as the mall opens. My anxiety is not set up to deal with large groups of teenagers and people I’m judging thinking they about to shoot up the place. It’s awful to think like that, but I saw I have some kind of PTSD.

When you’re an older teen engaging in sex with people over 18 it may take a long time to process the trauma. You believed at the time you consented and may not have been forced or drugged but your brain isn’t fully developed until 25. When you’re an older experienced adult you realize that you’re not attracted to teens so what happened was wrong and it may have influenced later poor choices in relationships.

I live in NYC and at any given time there’s people in the flagship Macys on 34th street (which is in its own building) I doubt they will close that one until they go completely online. The tourist be up in there like crazy and the people who work over there go during lunch or after work. That’s one location I’m sure is making the most revenue.

Me and my Husband went to the mall yesterday just to walk around.. It’s been years since I’ve done that and it was literally sad how desolate the mall is now.. I know that generations and times change, but being born in 92, the leaps and bounds we’ve arrived at today are overwhelming… It feels like we’ve slipped at least 3-4 generations.

As someone who was a teenager in the mid 90's, I was at the mall every wknd if not, every other wknd. The mall, the skating ring or the movies is where I would frequent with friends as a teen. Now, I'm like Funky; get what I need from one or two stores in the mall and leave! I shop at Marshall's, TJ Maxx & Amazon more than I do Zara or Nordstrom. The bigger name stores, I prefer to shop online.

A law went into effect yesterday….15 & under have to be accompanied by an adult at Del Amo Mall/So. Bay/Los Angeles. They’re fighting and acting a fool. Customers don’t feel safe.
