A very good idea to also show those unsuccessful optiins that would come to a beginners mind. very uncommon and helpful! thanks!

Your case studies are all so good! Thanks a lot! It would be helpful if all of them were included in your play list "case studies". I have learned a lot from you.

Very interesting use of extruding up to body, for the pattern to terminate correctly. Thank you

The face vs body selection is so useful to demonstrate. Thank you! It makes a lot of sense why the rectangular pattern did not stop at the angled face. The extrude feature has no idea that angled face is even there, as far as it is concerned the only object that exists is the flat face that was selected. Great work, I appreciate all you do!

Your videos are excellent, especially when you show approaches that don't work with reason why. Thank from Colorado.

This is a little too advanced for me at rhis moment but I really like how you also show how things can go wrong and then how to correct them. Subscribed to the channel because I feel I can learn a lot from these case studies.

I like your videos! Lars wastes a lot of time. We don’t need a stand up routine when learning this amazing, complex software!

Great tips! I am glad I am not the only one that splits bodies to make Fusion do what I want to do. It always felt like a dirty hack to me, but if you are doing it has to be the correct way! Thanks again, you are a legend!

I have a feeling that you are using a 3D mouse. Which brand are you using if you are using one?

Great video, thank you very much! Recently I am little bit obsessed with drawing spirals but I cant find a good way to sketch it. Do you have recommendations? Or maybe you alredy done a video on this topic? Many thanks!

Create a npt thread, with a big taper angle, and project the thread edge from the screw view(showing both start and end diamter of thread) to a flat plane?

I have not done a video using the coil command yet. It does look very interesting. I am looking for a good example.

hold shift and scroll wheel down and move mouse get the same effect..you can also set centre of rotation (just can not remember that one at this minute.)

Hello! What are you using to navigate within your model? When you turn and move your model it's so smooth. I'm not able to get anywhere near that kind of fluidity.

@Fusion360School
@Fusion360School 2 года назад
Yes, I am using a 3D connexion space mouse. To be honest, I am not sure why we cannot have this kind of fluidity with a conventional mouse. Maybe there is a software or hardware limitation.
@rickseiden1
@rickseiden1 2 года назад
@@Fusion360School I think it's because you can both pan and orbit at the same time with the space mouse, and you can only do one or the other with a regular mouse.

When using the offset face command and getting an error, could it not have been because you only split the front face, and not the top face as well?
@Fusion360School
@Fusion360School 2 года назад
I went to test this out. Unfortunately, the same error occurs. For the top face, it is already "split" in a sense, since it is bounded by hard edges, so the split face command would not be doing anything really. I was quite surprised that the program actually allowed me to split the top face.

Nice lesson, but shapes like this looks nice only when modeled. In reality they always full of dust which no possible to clean.
