FUV RALLY! Portland 2023 

Also a lifelong motorcyclist (never even driven a car) and have put over 5000 miles on my FUV since getting it in November - even through heavy snow in winter!

@@Keeper1st - Contact them and have them put together a rally through the heavy snow. This would result in a change of what you can use it for. The majority think it's only fair weather.

Arcimoto already has an Electric version of the Can-Am. Been out for a while. Buy one of those now!

This is false. No other motorcycle you can buy has a wrap around windshield with a joined roof with rain gutters. Autocycles are, by design, light vehicles of compromise compared to cars but they are extreme luxury compared to motorcycles. Due to the wind pressure around the front I stay bone dry in a hard rain with the wipers on high speed as long as I am moving, which is most of the time. The design's safety is incredible and the jet turbine sound of the twin motors winding up is a thrill every time! Cars have proven to be unsustainable and a gigantic disaster for our biome.

@@user-md6qp9mp4g First of all this is an autocycle. Due to it being new, state laws still call it a motorcycle and it gets the MC insurance rate which is very very cheap compared to car insurance. Cars with doors are boring and they isolate you from nature. They provide TOO MUCH comfort resulting in TOO MUCH ENERGY WASTED. Get doors and you will demand climate control, then the entire design is downgraded due to being too heavy for the battery size. Only one gimmick motorcycle with gyro balance has doors. The Carver is in the EU and it is underpowered, single seat and smaller, not a fair comparison.

I actually OWN the FUV for two years now and I'm sick of you toxic trolls shitting on things you don't even understand. The Carver's rear seat is child sized and it has no air bag, no harness or certified roll cage while the FUV has the safety of any small car and a rear seat as big as the front. Carver's max speed is just 45 kmph and its wheel base is narrower, meaning easier to roll over. The Carver weighs LESS THAN HALF of the FUV's 1300 pounds because it is not a highway capable vehicle - light construction vs. double A-frame suspension and proven formula one racing safety and stability in my FUV which tops out at 84mph! The Carver would never cut it in the US market. Most important of all is the made in the USA label - I have never owned a foreign brand because I am an American factory worker and a loyal American who will not stab my neighbor in the back by buying an import that steals his job.
