Yap. But Frank is too nice to do so. He should vary his "stile" .... dismissing some minor injuries after a "sorry, officer, I was doing wrong" is more than fair, but after arguing he should put all potatoes on the plate.
@@seifenraspel2382 Frank has said it in one of his previous videos, that he does not write tickets out of spite. Meaning that even though having an attitude on a traffic stop with an Officer may sometimes increase your chances of receiving a citation. However with Frank, he is one of the cops that would just write you a citation because you were reckless. I can respect that about Frank.
@@seifenraspel2382 here is another perspective as well, you also have to think what is the main goal of a Police Officer who makes a traffic stop. Obviously to get the point across that you can not break the law. However even though the Officer does not decide whether or not to give you a citation until later in the stop, it does not mean he/she wrote it out of spite. It just means that the Police Officer didn't think he/she got the point across.
I can recall during my 28 years of law enforcement drivers talking their way into a ticket. Best to shut up and listen. Sheeesh. You are so kind Frank.
This man went out of his way to earn more tickets. Why on God's Green Earth do you want to argue with a cop as he is giving you a break? If I were a cop, I would have said "We give warnings when we feel the person has learned from their mistake and we want to be nice. But you are arguing with me proving that you have not learned a damn thing, so, I have to give you a ticket becuase that is the only way you will learn. You are proving with your flapping mouth that a warning will not be enough so enjoy your ticket...."
It would have been funny if Frank replied "Oh in that case I will reconsider this", then walk back to his police car and re-written the ticket nailing him for everything.
@@davidabrinton ^that^ Sir is what should be done....period. It's a ticket [first violation only $75-$149] If perps want to argue let them argue with a judge or with themselves [for ignoring all the previous publicity about driving distracted and mobile devices]. Some say traffic police [general term] are just revenue collectors....I bet they don't scream the same when they or one of their family gets injured/killed by a distracted driver.
yea they are the ones that will scream that "the police are not the judge, jury, and executioner" as loud as they can....then when pulled over for the most simple of things they pretty much demand to have "street court" right there on the side of the road and to argue back and forth with the cop........which consist of them giving the dumbest excuses and claiming ignorance of the clearest of laws or claiming what they were doing was an "ok" violation of the law because "it is not that big of a deal"......the best answer is to just write them up for all of it and send them to big boy court in the actual courthouse with an actual judge......sadly though too many judges will go soft on them even if they see the video of them babbling nonsense on the side of the road and let them off on all but the smallest infraction which they see as a "win".....and repeat
I kind of wish Frank had said “OK, since you want to argue with my leniency and generosity, the warnings for your windshield and lifted truck are now citations.”
Lifted trucks should be required to have mudflaps in ALL states. Also, a newer trend I see is wheels and tires that stick out beyond the fenders on trucks and jeeps. They throw rocks.
Exactly. Lifted trucks and huge tires throw rocks, crack windshields, and cost the rest of us and insurance companies lots of $. This driver was pure Trump World: Deny, deny, deny. Make pathetic excuses. Take no personal responsibility, argue with and disrespect law enforcement, declare yourself a persecuted martyr of a victim. Whaa whaa, whine whine.
@@no-one-qd1liyou win. I searched all the comments to find the idiot that spread that lie. I have checked the Brady list and Frank is clean. But it never fails some idiot shows up to spread the LIE.
THANK YOU for telling him about mud flaps!!! I had this lifted truck with really thick tires throw a huge rock and completely crack my windshield on a street, not even on a highway 😢 it was such a loud bang, scared the life out of me. Biggest immediate crack I’ve ever seen from a rock. So thankkkk youuuu!! 👏🏻
@@antonioposa4070 That was one is. They are an illegal immigrant. Illegal is just shorthand for that. Now you're educated on what someone means when they say illegal.
@@Slindyy that might make a human a criminal (according to a hideous law) but not an "illegal". The definition of "illegal" is dehumanizing and racist.
Guy arguing with frank and frank still cuts him several breaks. Frank has so much patience in this ignorant world. Keep standing on that mountain we call "right". Great job Frank keeping everyone safe.
100% after he started arguing *AGAIN* after telling him already not to argue I would have called it and converted those warnings into proper tickets. Respect to deputy Sloup's patience here!
Same here. I would have said " ok , since you want to argue, here are the other two cites. We can discuss it with the judge and let him decide who is right." Idiots be idiots.
I have a LOT of patience, but I could NEVER do your job Frank! Your service and the way you interact is so very much appreciated. Thank You. BTW, I am a 1st responder Chaplain and well... you set the standard for all agencies.
Well, for a CDL driver it might be worth it, or even asking for a full ticket. There are tickets that, for us, are FAR worse than for the average driver, such as a seatbelt violation. And you can't contest a warning, but it goes on your license anyway. I'd much rather a real ticket that I can fight before a judge. A seatbelt warning cannot be contested and can cost you a job driving trucks.
I live in Scotland UK and I just love Fridays with Frank. Seriously good policing. Keep up the amazing work that all you guys and gals do and stay safe.
I deal with a 15yo that was the exact same. I adopted the theory of "the best way to avoid arguing, is to not do so." It's effective. When the boy starts in, I tell him, "I'm not arguing. I have better ways to spend my time." and I walk off. It's worked well enough, that now he actually says, "you're not going to argue with me..." and he doesn't even try.
The guy who had difficulties to admit that he did something wrong was very hard to understand. He deserved a citation for everything, not just the phone. He didn't seem to be a great learner.
@@splitliving Oh, that was his impressive line of argument, which I unfortunately didn't understand acoustically. That he couldn't silence Frank with it...
❤😊 Deputy Sloup is dooing a great job representig the American law enforcement workers international 😅 Greetings from your fans in Germany 😊 Thank you for the way you are and the way you do this job ❤
I haven't seen things get that intense since the Mustang kid wishing for Franks daughter to die. I feel for you bro, thank God you are a calm person and thus a calm cop. We need more people like you in law enforcement because you use the force only when appriopiate in regards to enforcing the law. You aren't hot headed and power trip. You are a good soul and a great human being. Thank you from Canada, I wish more cops here were like you and your brothers and sisters in arms.
We wrote one last night outside the mini mart. Morris called it "Stuart Drives A Comfortable Car" and then like in country songs, you know, in parentheses it says "There's Usually Someone in the Trunk." And, and um, I came up with a tune just a hummin'.
If you are driving with your cell phone you need to use the hands free options and things on your steering wheel and stuff to answer and use your phone, because being distracted by your middle console video screen is safer than being distracted by your cell phone screen.
Big ups to Mr.Sloup for being so kind and patient even after all the ignorance and after HEARING THE WORDS "Holding it in your hand" and "violation of Arizona law." They still argue about "what" they were doing on the phone. It blows my mind the stuff they say after "hearing" you say those words. (Hearing is in quotations because I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt)
Once again I'm struck with notion that there is no way in heck I would have the patience to be a police officer lol Thank you Frank, and the others in your profession :)
I can feel my heart rate rising over this guy. Frank you are the man, the patience!!! As soon as the arguing continued I just would've wrote him for everything. You can always talk your self into a ticket, very seldom talk your way out of one.
You had more patience than I would have had with the truck dude arguing. My go-to was " You seem to want a debate on this violation. I shall afford you the proper venue. Your mandatory court date is..."😊
Love or hate him, this guy(Deputy Frank Sloup) is so cool at doing his job. Might sound sarcastic or rude but his right on point 👍👌. That's what makes him sound the way he sounds. Likes his job. Dedicated, very professional . I'd love to have more Deputies, Officers Frank Sloup in the Law enforcement. My respect and blessings 👏👏👏👍👌👏👏👏🕊🙏💙🤍👏👏👏‼️
Great catch by PCSO anti-smuggling team! The frustrating part is that BP will probably process those aliens and release them into the US. 🤬😡 I could tell that Frank wanted to invite the GMC driver to drink a tall glass of shut the eff up! 🤐🤫 Stay safe 💙💙💙
They don't have any choice right now. Current law says all they have to say is, "I'm requesting asylum" and they have to have a hearing. They get to stay here while they wait two years for their hearing date. The only exception is if they have a criminal history or if they've been deported in the past. Republicans proposed an immigration bill that would've fixed this, but speaker Johnson didn't want to give Biden a win and wouldn't bring it to the floor.
