My livelihood was destroyed by an uninsured driver a few years ago. Any vehicle without insurance should be an immediate impound. If you can't afford to drive legal you can't afford to drive period!

Mine as well a kid in the gang hit me on purpose for his gang initiation. Literally T-bone me crushed my leg between the car. He was driving in my motorcycle and caused a slew of other medical issues and a TBI. And the car he was driving, had dead tags and no insurance that was the day my life as I knew it ended. Now I’m left with a medical nightmare for a body and 3/4 of my left leg is gone. It was not salvageable and the TV I destroyed my short term memory.

He also got bail and I was told while he was out on bail he disappeared. I was still in a coma at the time but I was the 13th rider that little group took out that year, and there are five more and three of them wore red and white. But in total the kid that took me out, and five of his friends are living down under complements of red and white. It’s to my understanding that some of those guys were caught and are serving 25 to life so for once records handled it properly but as for my life it is what it is I live alone my son lives 1400 miles away and I live out in the country, so pretty isolated. But I get around I use my prosthetic I take care of my own yard and I’ve built flowerbeds that completely wrapped my entire house and I helped my neighbors down the road with tree trimming and what not so I’m still out there doing stuff. But 95% of my time is spent alone. The kid T-bone me on August 18 of 2014 and the first amputation was done the third week of November the ex petition for divorce January 2 of 2015. So I’m of a certain age and with all of the medical crap in the missing leg i’ve stayed single I mean in today’s day and age where people not me specifically because I’m sure he’s different, but people care more about status money and looks. I don’t think they’ll be any partner candidates. A friend of mine actually tried to set. One of her male friends up with me and he straight up, said that he could not deal with the missing leg and that was the only thing so I’ve accepted that doesn’t mean I have to like it but I’ve excepted it and I do still ride I modified a Harley Davidson freewheeler because it was my left leg so I went from two wheels to three i’ve been riding since I was five years old I didn’t do anything wrong the bike didn’t do anything wrong. I got right back on so who’s standing joke is I lost a leg and I gained a wheel.

Deputy Sloop is correct. OUR insurance rates go up every year, because THEY opt to drive a vehicle without insurance. ANY uninsured vehicle should be impounded and the operator should lose their license for 1 year….instantly. Get them off the road. Maybe then our insurance rates will normalize.

I walked around a local casino (Airway Heights, Wa) looking at license plates. Several out of date, modified tabs etc. I also saw numerous handicapped hangers that were obvious copies and modified in some cases. It's called a CHOICE. I've been hit twice by people without insurance. The last one sideswiped me at 60+mph and he took off, I chased him but I backed off at 95mph. I managed to get the tag number the police looked it up and he had a warrant, he didn't have a valid license, no insurance, and expired registration. Riding dirty. I had to pay my insurance a thousand dollar deductible and my premiums went up by twelve dollars a month for ten months. I got shafted because someone wasn't being the least bit responsible.
I totally feel for you. I've had a very similar experience in the past, being rear-ended by an uninsured driver. Luckily he didn't try to run, but it was so frustrating that he essentially got away scott-free while I was out my deductible. I love watching Frank, but videos like this frustrate me since he basically lets these people go. I don't necessarily think they should be taken to jail for driving without registration/insurance, but I really think that these people won't learn to be responsible unless their cars get impounded.

I guess if it’s towed to an impound lot at least no one can get hurt. If another vehicle has insurance it can usually transfer or cover the newly purchase. Best learn how to do things now
I live in CALIFORNIA. I’m 63 years old and I’ve never had a problem making sure my cars are registered and insured and my driver license is valid. It’s not that hard.

Driver #1 seems to have broken every motor vehicle law going. Of course she was just going to get... etc. No, she was never going to get licenced, insured, registered, etc, she's just been caught. Driver #2 is just as bad. I love how they are always surprised when they are told their licence is suspended. Both cars should have been seized.
When i lived in Massachusetts the rule was to automatically impound any vehicle found on a public way without valid registration, no matter the reason.

In previous vids Frank said that he does have discretion now, AZ does not require the vehicle to be towed. Waiting for the tow truck often takes time away from his work. The person that got pulled over should have to stand outside in the sun until the car is towed away. imho

In my jurisdiction, Drivers with Revoked/Suspended DLs were custodially arrested and their vehicles were towed. By letting her park the car, she will just come back later and start driving it again.

I can't believe that in Arizona ANYONE (regardless of their excuses) can have NO driver's license, NO registration, and NO insurance -- and a police officer will just hand them a ticket and allow them to DRIVE AWAY. In any other state, that first car would have been towed and impounded.

The best way to get pulled over is to have dead plates! The second best way to get pulled over is excessive speed, especially in a school zone . I haven’t had a speeding ticket since 1972! Also, when I see a police officer in their cruiser, I always make sure both hands are on the steering wheel. However, the best advice is to make sure all your paperwork is good and current. I can’t believe how many people Frank pulls over that don’t have their drivers license proof of insurance and registration, it’s just mind-boggling to me !😊
My son was T-boned by a impaired woman. Search warrant at the hospital for her blood. .28 blood alcohol and cocaine in her system. At trial her attorney admitted no license, registration or insurance. He asked for leniency because she hit my son while it was her birthday. We said no way and received nothing because she owned nothing and was broke. Ticket these clueless drivers.
it never ceases to amaze me a) how many US drivers seem to drive without registration , licence or insurance and b) how lenient Frank can be. Here, in the UK you would have to be extremely lucky to get away with any of those especially the licence and insurance. The only time I've done it and been stopped by the police I was taking the car to be tested because once a car is 4 years old it must be tested yearly before it can be taxed.

The very first thing I do after taking the vehicle in my possession is get insurance. I log into the app from the location I took ownership and add the vehicle to my policy. It takes about 5 minutes! My state allows you to drive the vehicle with no tags to your home. I was hit by someone 5 mins after buying a truck and the trooper could not believe I actually had insurance because he never sees people following the law. I was not at fault but it avoided tickets. I had the title signed, bill of sale and insurance. Why is it so hard for people to do this!

Someone pulled over and the trifecta being discovered should be an automatic impound. These people are the reason that legitimate drivers are paying through the nose for insurance, while they enjoy the free ride. They get a ticket, pay it, and continue to drive uninsured over and over and over just to avoid having to pay it. If they had to pay some real tow and impound fees once or twice, they might actually do some math.
With no registration AND no insurance, why are these vehicles not towed and impounded? Then, to get them out of impound and back on the road, the registered owner should be required to show valid driver’s license, valid current registration, and valid current insurance. Why are they allowed to park them in a church parking lot, from which we all know they will just come back in an hour and drive them away?? Arizona motor vehicle laws need to change!
To reply to the first question, I am the victim of 3 hit & runs over the past 15 years, 2 simply ran and never got caught and the third was an illegal alien who simply got deported. Got all 3 on dashcam and all 3 were unregistered and uninsured. All 3 times I got stuck with the bill with no recourse. Nobody belongs on the road without a valid license, current registration, and valid insurance. It part of being a responsible adult in the United States. Immature and irresponsible adult children should live at home and ask mommy for a ride when they need to go somewhere!!

We just got a car and the dealer wouldn't let us leave the parking lot to test drive it unless we had full coverage insurance. Then when we left with the car, they required full registration with your insurance for that car before you left for good.
That is a every day thing around our big cities. Expired plates, no insurance and suspended DL. And then add in these people are inherently bad drivers and don't care and thats partly why insurance rates are so high.
