The next time my gun is apart I am going to modify the cocking block so that I can back off the pin from above. I am going to turn down a grub screw on the end to the size of the pin that goes against the hammer then drill a pilot hole all the way thro the cocking block then open up the hole from above but not all the way thro then tap it out to the grub screw size The drill the top plate to get access to it Will you do a vid on how to tune for heavy slugs on a power block version please sir😁 Wayne from South Wales 🤝

Could you do a video showing how to fix a leak from the front reg? I had a problem from there and I had to send out my gun to UA for repair. But, I want to learn how to do these repairs and maintance myself.

Earnest, I have an M3 with a 600mm barrel in .25. I was hoping to make around 80fpe with it for long range ground squirrel shooting. It's not happening. Do you think they tungsten hammer weight will improve my speed/energy with only running the 600mm barrel? I know they say it works good with the 700mm or longer barrel, but currently they are not available and I need to run this 60mm barrel for awhile anyway. Thanks
Ernest question for you. Recently upgraded my MK-II to the power block. Should I keep the valve spring from the slug power kit or use the power block spring? The slug power kit spring seems almost too light for the new power block. I’m shooting NSA 38gr
Hi Ernest, My Impact suddenly "lost power", it is shooting the 21gr Javelins only at 650-750 FPS now..., ...without any true reaction on min or max at PW. Before that 940-950 FPS without problem. No leaks, no visible malfunction, reg approx. at 145, VA fully open. I've read somewhere the issue could be that the c1 is backing out. What do you think about it? Have you something like that before? Thank you for your time and effort! BR Peter
Hi, C1 and rod jammed tightly I haven’t seen one back out in hundreds of disassembles. U Will probably taking off the C1 for maintenance before c1 loosens by being shot.
Mine on my m3 compact backed out after a month of it being new. It was so loose I was able to unthread it by hand without any vice grips. Same thing happened on my mk2 a few years ago. There is a high probability of these coming loose, especially if you’re shooting at high powers. I’m going to make a point when I get a new impact to just right of the bat set my c1 where I want it and to apply some loctite to save headaches down the road. I hope when the m4 comes around this whole part is redesigned where it’s impossible to come loose.
It is the huma air .35 cal slug power kit heaviest hammerweight, I also put the 2 washers on it. Last night it would only cock at certain hammer settings. Doesn't seem to cock after pulling it apart again and reassembling.
@@microsoftchad start at PW 8 and work yourself up till unable to cock and that’s your limitation. With thicker head you will bottom out the spring then the sear won’t engage
@@ernestrowe5061 pulled it apart and put it together, it started cocking now. I see what you mean by the preload changes based on the hammerweight. I put one in that still let's me access up to 16 on macro and 5 on micro, but can't go 1 click past 5.
