I love the car man i have an 03 sedan i bought a few weeks ago for $700 with a leaking trans and some paint issues im planning on 6mt swapping it soon i already found all of the parts to swap it other than the driveshaft

the diffuser nope! just screwed it right into the rear bumper then made mounts through the factory trunk drain plugs! The side pieces I made small brackets for but up front just bolted in(After drilling holes obv)

I have a couple questions what cams you running and how did you decide compression ratio a lot of long blocks coming 8.5 but I’m hearing some people running 9.1 so idk what to run myself. Along with cams

kseries27 thank you! z1 chromoly pivot ball, hr pivot fork, spec twin disc. Was the stock/original trans up until a couple weeks ago when 3rd gear went. Upgrading to a cd009 now!

When your G35 was still n/a what mods did you have to get it to slide? Engine, suspension, weight reduction etc... was it sluggish to drift? I love your car it's awesome and you built your car in a smart way. Also you didn't seem nervous on camera 👌🏽

One of the coolant passages is machined/modified for better cooling distribution. Jim wolf technologies has a write up. Then you can use the hr oem/hr style head gaskets. This helps a lot!

I'm Justin with the nismo 6mt in st cloud, mn, but finished one knuckle ball joint, still have the other and working on replacing bushings and stuff in my control arms and then coils. Kind of scared to look at the rear considering how bad the front bushings were. Sweet I'll have to make it there, probably won't be in my car though.

I realized after it finally uplaoded that that is something I completely didnt address! My bad! Its a Spec Twin Disc Clutch. I also realized I missed a ss clutch line, z1 trans mount, z1 chromoly pivot ball, running the stock DS currently.
Hey man! I've got a G35 S/ G37 Sedan drift car with the chase bays booster delete, and I pretty much have no brakes. Is yours the same way? I've got to heel stomp just to feel like I'm even applying %10 brakes. I've driven booster delete vehicles before and they don't even come close...
I think I first saw your video from "Whats under your hood" and was amazed by your setup. I also recall in that video you said the stock G35 sedan was also "fun". I was wondering if you look back now, or if you were to compare your setup with the stock G35 sedan, could you maybe do 20% of the drifts you are doing now, or maybe 50%? (Considering you didn't weld your diff). Furthermore, It would be really cool if you could make an update video on whether you got any new mods since this video! Thanks bro, these videos are awesome!
Gilson Tsang idk how I’m just seeing this comment now, I really apologize for the delay!!! I would love to address those in a future video! Regarding the stock g sedan, I feel if it had the bumpstops cut, stance coilovers, a handbrake, a seat, and a welded diff, I could most all of the things I’m currently doing, just not with the same driving style or excitement. The stock G sedan performs very well!!
There aren't that choose the sedan so your build is a good inspiration for me to reference as I continue to build mine. I'm actually getting the tomei diff next month. How does it hold up? Also what did you do to fully disable vdc from kicking in, did you just remove the abs cable or create a switch for the yaw sensor? The diff holds up great! I've been running it for 4 years of heavy abuse and no issues. It's loud though imo! As far as the vdc/abs, I just pulled the vdc fuse! I now have it completely removed etc but yeah by pulling the vdc fuse it disabled the yaw/vdc/abs entirely. I prefer it that way anyway
