This is a great piano rendition of the theme! GK3 has always been one of my favourite game themes, so it's really neat hearing this take on it.

This is a hauntingly beautiful rendition of one of Robert Holmes`masterpieces ❤️ I love how you linger on the notes to increase the emotional impact. I have listened to it a lot of times over the last couple of days and I am deeply moved every single time. It`s sometimes hard to describe one`s emotions with words. But this piece of music emotes something akin "melancholic optimism", if that makes any sense at all. About 10 years ago I recorded a short acoustic guitar multi track of the GK3 theme and planned to do a proper complete version one day. Now it`s late 2019 and I cannot remember how I played it back then and barely play the guitar anymore. Hopefully I´ll be motivated to pick it up again in the future. Renditions like yours certainly make me reconsider doing it. Thank you so much Katja for reminding me how much I love the Gabriel Knight music ❤️

Oh, wau. For once, the RU-vid algorithms did their job, and brought me somewhere good. I really enjoyed this piece, well done. The main theme of 3 has to be my favorite piece in the entire series. I always loved how it's great the first time you hear it, but once you hear it after completing the game, it's still just as great, but it somehow makes more sense since the themes in the music tell the story that takes place in the game. Like, every note just "makes sense" in some strange way. I noticed it way back as a kid. The music just sounds like this epic adventure, yes, but it also has an undertone of tragic loss, which fits perfectly. If I were to make a request, I'd name one of my other favorites, which is the Ending Credits theme from 3. It may not be the best piece in the series (although it's still excellent) but it's always struck a chord with me by being such a tremendous book end on the series. If the main theme of GK3 tells the story of that particular game, I feel like the Credits theme spans the entire series. I love how it re-uses some themes from the first game, giving you the sense of familiarity that hits you in the face with the fact that it's the very last part of the story. I guess I love it in particular because listening to it once after beating GK3, I kind of finally realized why I don't want or need a Gabriel Knight 4; the ending of 3 is the perfect ending to the series. It finally dawned on me that the story begins with Grace doing Gabriel's dirty work on the phone with one his one night stands, getting rid of her, because Gabriel himself is too immature to take responsibility over his behaviour and actions - and ends with Gabriel finally growing up, but a minute too late, and Grace is gone, making Gabriel face the consequences of his actions for the first time. And that's the story of the game; it's not about voodoo, werewolves, and vampires - it's Gabriel's growing up story. Wait, what was my original point, even? Oh yea, that's why I'd request the Credits theme of GK3 lol. And good job with this, it's great. Also, thanks for giving me an excuse to go back and listen some GK music again.

I like the scene in Gabriel Knight where Gabriel meets has shadow self and they're having a slow conversation talking about life. The ending scene where he is a wolf travelling through the maze is also quite terrifying, but would be fun to play on the piano.

That was beautifully played. You have such talent and put so much feeling into it. That brought back so many memories of my one of my favourite game series. The best Gabriel Knight theme for me will always be the St Georges Bookshop from the original. That was how I discovered your channel.

Oh!, my oh my!, that is an adorable theme... a sublime piece of music I should say... The harmony and the melody are exquisite, and there were perfect since the very moment that there were conceived by *Robert Holmes/David Henry,* but, now the song is more than perfect for two more reasons, first, for your arrangement, which is completely tasteful, and second (and most important), because this song was already interpreted by someone who deeply loves music and who has a passion bigger than the body that contains her, and I mean: *YOU.* ❤️

Great work! Personally I like the faster version better but I applaud you for making a different version of this. That's not easy! It did trigger my nostalgia feelings of me playing Gabriel Knight 3 when it came out :-)
