the break was the Final Judge for Medina. No Waves for him! One of the all time greats with over 12 waves riden in the heat and couldnt get a decent score. Not the best place for a CT event

Fiz os cálculos com Medina chegando nas finais ficando em 2° lugar(8000p) no mínimo, em Portugal, Bells e Margaret(etapas garfadas) estaria com 42345p em 2° colado no ranking, JJ e Colapinto logicamente estariam com menos pontos, Ethan e Jack também estaria com menos pontos.

Vou comentar algo pra saber se é só eu que percebi isso. Vamos lá, ano passado e nesse ano, venho notando que empenho do Gabriel nos exercícios físicos tem deixado ele tão forte, que fez (na minha opinião) ele perder a “mobilidade” que tinha para dar aéreos. Antes era muito fácil pra ele! Não precisava de um espaço tão grande na onda…não importava se era de front ou Back. Nessa bataria isso ficou ainda mais nítido pra mim. Devido o porte físico que ele adquiriu, resultou que ele precisa de muita velocidade para “voar”. Basta notar a facilidade que o Yago tem para realizar aéreos num curto espaço. Apesar de o Yago ter quase a mesma altura do Gabriel, mas a massa corporal dele é nitidamente bem menor. Na minha humilde opinião, o corpo que o Gabriel adquiriu se encaixa perfeitamente para ondas de consequência. Tanto é que ele deu um show em Teahupoo! Na minha opinião ele terá que repassar isso. Pois a maioria das ondas do circuito não são de consequência.

I guess if you can get a major score on one air off a closeout, a critical smash lipper on a bigger wave for the heat makes sense. The reasoning being the critical nature of the move. Seems like a spot with potential, but hard to get excited about today.
