Galaxy Watch 4 - RECEIVE & SEND ALL MESSAGES! (WIFI & LTE) 

Thank you for the awesome video, I just want to understand one thing,so the watch didn't have an esim number installed on it, and you were able to do these functionalities?

@@ALLSTARSPACE I am using separate e-sim for my watch4. i can send sms through that but I can't able to receive sms with that e-sim. any idea?

This still does not work for me. I have an LTE version of the gw4 and a Galaxy Note 10 plus. I have tried everything I can think of. All permissions have been added for both devices, made sure both devices are connected remotely and have gps turned on and when I open the google maps app on my watch on LTE mode it still asks me to connect to my phone (I can see the map and my position but I can't navigate anywhere if not connected to my phone via BT), but everything else for the most part works as it should such as tracking my walks/runs, making calls, sending texts, etc. Related to texts for some reason my Bixby assistant can send texts via Samsung messages but when I try to manually type out a text it asks me to check my network connection when I have full bars (although I do have G-board selected as my default keyboard because the default one is not well optimized). Any other suggestions?

I tried this with a S21 Ultra and a galaxy watch 4, it just refuses to connect remotely, factory reset both devices did everything but will not work. Surprisingly theirs very little info on this online

True that, there are many people going for the GW4 who aren’t familiar with Samsung watches and made the decision because of wear os. One of the reasons why I do do many different videos to help out if I can 😁 hopefully it’s the start of a fruitful relationship between Samsung and google.

Yes, both the phone and the watch must have internet for this to work. If either doesn't, it wont work.

I have the same Problem, it is strange. I thought LTE Smartwatch can be totally independent from Smartphone

In other videos I have seen once phone switched off nothing works even if it is lte. Only calls and messages will go through the esim since it is through carrier network .

@@ALLSTARSPACE die 40mm Bluetooth in Schwarz, am Black Friday für ~175€. Für mich sind besonders die Fitnessfunktionen wichtig und ich bin sowieso fast immer in WLAN oder hab mein Smartphone dabei. Freue mich echt, dass Samsung bei 40mm keine Abstriche gemacht hat, 44mm sehen an meinem Arm immer total klobig aus.

@@phillip9392 I spoke with t mobile and they could figure it out and then call samsung and same thing they couldn't tell me either so I went ahead an sent it back. Samsung is getting worse and worse by the year. Last year model lte was overheating like crazy on lte and not this

persönlich würde ich immer LTE nehmen, allerdings hält der akku bei der GW4 LTE nicht besodners lange, sprich minus 2 bis 3 stunden im Normal modus gegenüber der BLT/WIFI. Geht auch mit der BLT version, wifi connected.

@@jbenduro4604 yes, you can turn it off completely and it will run via BLT and/or Wi-FI

I tested SOS out using my Skype number. SOS worked correctly when BT connected to my phone and when it was disconnected from my phone. The only difference was the location was slightly off when the watch was disconnected from the phone - but only by a four or five feet. Both tests were done inside my apartment since it's snowing/sleeting right now. So considering I was inside and under significant cloud cover, I would consider the standalone results to be good. I didn't test the fall detection, either connected or disconnected, because I don't want to break myself (LOL).

yes, it works the way I have demosntarted in this video.

cool, its been around for a while but it used to work with samsung cloud and not many people are aware, this needs to be enabled (going by blog posts etc.) its now using google cloud.

I haven't turned my phone off, but the watch works perfectly in LTE mode when miles away from the phone. Calls, Spotify, texts, navigation all good.

As long as you use the same messaging app as default for both devices, yes absolutely.

I have a seperate video out that demonstrates the stand alone navigation, also this video shows how it works as stand alone with remote connection. watch and phone are not connected to each other. (unless it is a BLT / WIFI version)

It appears to even when I have this setting on and logged in if I then turn off the phone it says "offline" and does not allow any sms to be sent???

It (remote sync) would work, point is your phone and watch should have internet access, either through LTE or connected to WiFi

yes, thats the way it works for now, you will not see the phone as you are out and about, which means you can navigate with your LTE watch only. If it deosnt work, turn remote connection off, restart watch and phone and turn it back on.

yes this is an essential part of it.

turn off remote connection and restart both phone and GW4, go back in once restarted and turn back on (have you got a Samsung phone?)

yes and no :-) I have seen many posts on reddit etc. people are not aware of this, it also changed from samsung cloud to google cloud. stay safe.

@@ALLSTARSPACE but remote connection needs wifi right? I mean in order to use remotr connection, both phone and smartwstch should be connected to the same wifi, otherwise it wont work? For me, watch is in standalone mode and remote connection is on on Galaxy wearable, but still is not getting sms on watch ...😔

Are you referring to mesaages for wear os? If so it us not available for gw4 anynore for some reason
