@@Grufflebum Personally I always thought the horse (Knight) as to be the counter to the Queen with the way it moved and how peculiar it was all the other pieces, making the horse harder to kill for the Queen, I also guess that the horse is able to jump over pieces as it’d take too long to get it out or around other pieces with the movement, heavily taking way its viability and use in strategic plans
@@redletto1511 even i thought so but that's complete bs lmao. Bishops are better than knights coz they have many more use cases. Only significant Use of knight is forking lmao. But it is a good use.
@@edgarsilva4744 if I’m not mistaken respawn and ea came to an agreement that for the next 7 years apex legends will be on their current servers after 7 years they might make an update for them. I only know a bit but that’s what I’ve seen. Just most people will mention server issues and immediately have no insight. I just hope it all gets better for apex:)
And mirage is so fun to play like its soooo good to dissapear in a middle of a team whit his ultimate but the tatical... Kinda suck like if you be in a 1v1 against 1 person he cant do nothing cause i doubt someone will be bamboozled when you are in they face
Devs told that mirage wont get a buff becuz.. its will confuse people until they get crazy. When the line between real mirage and decoy will left so thin thin..
I absolutely ADORE these more analytic, more transparent videos about not one game, but most video games in general, with patterns/elements within games that some games fail at, or succeed at, they are VERY interesting and I’d love to see more
thing is though is that Watson IMO will never be where she was again because of the meta.Even if they buffed her again to the point of the same power she had when she was released she still wouldn’t be as good because the meta has completely shifted
@@biggiechungus1294 idk because the meta wouldn’t change because of her,I feel like since the meta is movement she doesn’t really have a place in the game currently
You also didn't mention how characters can overlap eachother with one doing a better job than then the other and basically the other one being useless i see that happen in a few games.
Personally I feel like siege has experienced this and balanced it well, I haven’t played in a while but most wooden surfaces can be destroyed for lines of sight and such. Sledge has a hammer that’s consistent and many uses but it’s a hammer so you have to be close, while buck has a shotgun intended for destruction but it’s very limited ammo but can shot from a distance, buck is better but they balanced the other parts of one another’s kits (sledge having farther sights and nades) so yet one is better yes they buff up the other so each is situational
5:41 when you mentioned the "same gun" made me remember the days of early PUBG/PUBG Lite, where EVERYBODY would use the M416 because that gun was so overpowered that imo it was better than some of the crate weapons.
1:36 yes they overnerfed her plz make a shirt BUFF WATTSON AND MIRAGE plz us wattson mains been out of the meta for over a year now it's so sad and miserable now I feel you pain mirage mains
Unfortunately klien said they aren't big buffing her because she is already considered A-teir by many and has a high win percentage it's just not many are playing her And if they buff her everyone might be playing her and the meta would just be wattson and crypto
Like the COD community. I think its impossible to balance a gun because lets be honest, it's a gun. The most overpowered thing we've invented to fight with. I dont see how that can be balanced
Your updates all just came out! For chess their now is a chicken,it’s a pawn but it can switch positions with other peaces (except the king) For ro sham bo you can now do a fake out,put your thumb in and you and your opponents have to go again For tag their are new biomes, house, apartment, duplex, and hospital
Call of duty deliberately makes the game unbalanced ad patch it every week because it keeps interested in the game so RU-vidrs can create more build guides every week instead of having a perfectly balanced game and everyone forgetting about it
@@edgewastaken2432 no, I don’t know how to describe it but it would be a mix of his invisibility while reviving and Titanfall 2. I’m no expert so I don’t know the specifics but if done right I think it would be a great mirage buff because he wouldn’t be overpowered if you really think about it. Maybe just an outline though who knows
Macro: sometimes developer can overbuff character Also macro in apex legend 100 best character: *IF I WAS ONE OF A CREATOR, I WILL BE BUFFING CAUSTIC TRAPS LIKE CRAZY*
you also have to think about game balance affects the playerbase. For example in overwatch bastion is op in lower ranks but at higher ranks hes a throw pick
When he said "when you get excited for a new patch note" yeah when I heard the devotion was going to be ground loot yeah let's just say I went rogue lmao
Before Ubisoft took away Ace’s smoke grenades in rainbow six siege, he was overpowered. Arguably the best assault rifle in the game, hard breach gadget, smoke grenades… he could do everything. He could kill, open site, plant etc. Now hes still insane but he has no smokes lmao
Something else you can also add is how sometimes Buffing or nerfing characters can create a more exciting or boring experience for players and spectators. especially if you're over nerfing a strong character. This is mostly for 1v1 games and its a bit more different for teams games. Nerfing in general is hard because you generally dont want to make an interesting yet dominating character totally boring or unusable. Developers need to also strive to make the nerf still fun for people who play that character. Basically what im trying to say is buff Wattson.
Make mirage teleport between decoys or make him able to store upto 3 decoys and BE the decoy while staying stationary at the original position like crypto, you cant fire while you are a decoy but can revive teammates
the only game i’ve ever played that has a balanced fighting system is for honor. yes there’s a lot of annoying characters and kind of op, but there’s always a counter to every type of play style which is just insane
Maybe that would make his ultimate a bit too similar maybe make him a recon because shooting the decoys don't give you the best idea for the enemy location and maybe be cloaks when using recon beacons
You know, I really think siege does well (better than before I should say, I’m looking at you lion) is because many things are directly tied to the character. It’s like having knobs on every character like on an amplifier that can all be tuned. In apex for example, there are only like 3 or 4 things even if we include hitbox that we can really adjust on a character to tweak them making every game balance update to be way too minor or quite drastic while siege has not only abilities but guns, which means that recoil, damage, optics etc, can all be taken into account. Maybe tying more things directly to characters is the way to go for other games too. Maybe games like apex would struggle since it’s not really like you can tie a gun to a legend without backlash but it does seem quite logical.
My poor mirage, I want him to be viable so bad. I'm kinda hoping they change his skill to where he can swap places with Holo within a certain range, making it more tactical as to whether you use a holo to aggressively confuse enemies or set up a retreat strategy.
Its worth noting that alot of games DONT strive for balance. LoL is an example of one where the balance philosophy is based on "spicing up the meta" They believe that rather than supplying some kind of gated rotation, they can buff/nerf to swap which parts of the map become points of interests and which characters are highlights for part of a season.
"Unless they nerf your character" Me, no-aim Rein main that finally got to play support with Brig's release: [cries at every patch saying she or the people she heals are still too hard to kill]
