So glad to hear you enjoyed your time with Star Ocean: The Second Story R. It has such a special place in my heart, and I am happy to see more people getting to experience its wonder.
I've been playing Dragon's Dogma 2, 75hrs in and I'm absolutely LOVING it. I loved Dragon's Dogma 1 so both games now have a special place in my heart.
I am currently playing DBZ Kakarot on Switch and am having a blast. I have reached the Android saga. I love that the game adds slice of life stuff that wasn't in the anime or manga.
@@codysvlogdays I haven't played it on other platforms so I cannot compare. However, I find it runs good on the Switch and it looks good. The only thing is there is a lot of loading when you go between areas or between cutscenes. Again, I'm not sure how this is on other platforms. I would recommend it on the Switch though for the handheld play. It runs well on handheld. I haven't played the game docked so I cannot speak on performance there.
I know the loading screens were a little rough on ps4, but stuff like that doesn't bother me as long as it's reasonable load times. I never thought they could get it running on switch so I've just been curious about it ever since it was announced for switch. As long as it doesn't overheat my switch, I might check it out since both of you say it runs well
I've been hesitant to start Rain Code because I've heard that it's not GREAT - which, don't get me wrong, not every game needs to be great, but with so many great games out there, it's hard for me to prioritize one that I'm not sure about. But I think hearing your thoughts makes me feel a bit better about keeping it on the back burner for now.
Dude, I hear ya! It has its positives but I can’t say it’s a favourite…. Glad I played it but it just felt a bit too long. I think it’s worth playing but I wouldn’t make it a priority.
Rain Code has been on my buy list for a while but given what I've heard about it I still want to pick it up but I'm not in a rush. Pretty much since I picked it up day 1, I've been playing Unicorn Overlord almost flat out such a fantastic game. Even though I'm in the last 3rd and over 80rs in I'm still being introduced to new strategies and gear that vastly change up how a class can be used as well as new classes themselves. The game is brimming with little details too. Like early on you encounter a village that's been tormented by a plague and the Clerics you hire in that area all have plague doctor masks, but if you were too go outside that villages range and go to another fort that same class doesn't have those masks.
Yeah, everyone is playing UO! It looks so cool but the demo didn’t click for me so I’m skipping it. Oh well LOL gives me a chance to catch up on my backlog!
Fantastic video Paige. I love these kind of videos. I'm so happy to see more people getting into the Star Ocean series, as it's one of favorite besides Final Fantasy. So excited to play Infinite Wealth some time this year - I only hear good things about it.
Yay!!! Thank you! I can’t wait to play more Star Ocean games - they truly are awesome! And yeah, Infinite Wealth is amazing so hopefully you can get to it soon!!!
You’re lucky. I WISH I can run on the treadmill and play switch. I can’t even chew gum and walk so imagine what I’d do to myself or Switch if I tried to use it on the treadmill. Those are some great games you’ve been playing
I have 'Star Ocean: The Second Story R' on my backlog! Very much looking forward to playing that for the first time. I'm currently on my first ever playthrough of 'Nier' on the PS3. I'm enjoying it so far and I'm curious as to how the story will unfold. Prior to that, I was making my way through the 'Prince of Persia Trilogy' on PS3. Got the platinum trophies for all three games. 😊
Really happy to hear how much you enjoyed Star Ocean Second Story R! I picked it up on PS5, but I think it'll be a great game to play on the Portal (also happy to hear how much you've been enjoying that device...I haven't used mine enough yet!) Great video, Paige! Looking forward to more of these types of videos in the future :)
Raincode was a game I was super excited for but I just kinda....never got around to playing it. Admittedly I got it because it looks like Danganronpa and thats one of my favorite series of all time
Great video! I *just* started like a dragon infinite wealth. Only two hours in and I'm hooked. It's like.. dropping me right back in that world and I love it!
I'm just over here with my still sealed Collector's Edition of Master Detective Archives from launch. Games I beat recently: Ender Lilies Quietus of the Knights - 2D Metroidvania game from a few years ago that they just announced a sequel to. A lot of the game is Intentional Hard Mode and the Boss battles are insane difficulty spikes - not exaggerating when one took me over an hour of fighting at least 10 times memorizing every attack pattern. It's a testament to how good the rest of the game is that it frustrated me the entire time I was playing, and yet I still liked it. The art style is gorgeous, the music is incredible, and the lore of the world fascinates. Didn't 100% it, but I did get basically all the "major" collectibles, so I think it was like 97%. Princess Peach Showtime - charming and delightful. Maybe not worth $60, but I had fun anyway. It's not a difficult game, and did end up 100% it
Hey Paige! nice games, thanks again for showing us interesting games! for my part I been ton of old games because of my gaming memories! Good old game like The Legend of Zelda and Super Mario Bros., also more obscure one like Clu Clu Land or Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders. The last one I beat is Eye of the Beholder, going to play the second one next!
Infinity “Strash” has that Engrish translation sound that was common in the 90s and early 2000s. Don’t underestimate the effect that a bad title has on gamers! I’m playing a lot of handheld Zeldas and puzzle games, but I don’t think those are games that you’re into. 👾
It's always nice to see a new Femtrooper video! Master Detective Archives sounds interesting but I think it's probably a bit long for me. I'm not super into visual novels but I like the ones that have gameplay, like Phoenix Wright or Danganronpa (you're the one who got me to play Danganronpa!) I've been playing older games recently. Finished up Silent Hill 4 (only my second Silent Hill, the other one being Silent Hill 1) and finally went back to Azure Dreams on the PS1, which I started playing almost 25 years ago! Finally beat it!
Great video! This year I’ve started a lot of games. But the ones I’ve recently completed are FF7 remake (since I finally got a PS5) and Nightshade which is an otome game (my yearly visual novel lol). Now I’m playing peach showtime as a breather before jumping into rebirth!
Congrats on recently completing 3 games!! Bit of a bummer to hear that you didn’t enjoy Rain Code as much as you thought you would. Definitely want to give it a shot considering how much I love these games. How long did it take you to complete Star Ocean Second Story R? This is on my short list of games to play this year and I’m not sure what to expect since I’ve never played any of the other games in the series. Excited to hear those final thoughts on Infinite Wealth! Got the feeling that you loved it!! 🤣🤣
Shootout to you for playing Infinity Strash... I read the manga when I was younger, and to this day, no other adaptations are on the same level... I wanted to give it a chance, but thanks to your review, I'll save some time, stay on Unicorn Overlord once again, and at some point, will go back to Granblue Fantasy Relink before Eiyuden Chronicles comes out !😅
I watched a video of yours recently where you mention that you really enjoyed Triangle Strategy, so I ordered it, as well as Tactics Ogre and have been geeking out and having fun
In March I beat five games bringing my total to 22 completed games this year so far. Right now I'm about halfway through Unicorn Overlord and I LOVE it so so much. Your video at the beginning of the year about all the games you beat last year inspired me to start keeping track of what I'm playing and I'm so glad I've started doing that. I complete a lot more games than I thought 😂
That is amazing to hear! I’m glad it helped and you enjoyed it! I’ll do one of those next year too!!! It’s a fun challenge for me to see how many I can beat!
@@Summer_and_Rain -Xenoblade Chronicles 3 -Ghost of Tsushima -Laytons Mystery Journey Katrielle and The Millionaires Conspiracy -Code Realize -Crisis Core -Mario Wonder -Kings Quest -Deaths Door -Catherine Full Body -Cyberpunk 2077 -Brutal Legend -Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga (which I'm counting as 3 because they were originally released in trilogies) -Another Code: Recollection (I'm counting as two because I completed both games) -Dragon Quest 11 -The Great Ace Attorney: Adventures -Final Fantasy Rebirth -Paper Mario Color Splash -Battle Axe -The Ascent
@@easymodenerd That is awesome! I am taking a break from death's door after getting stuck on the black knight. I have played code realize. How did you like the fan disk? :)
@@Summer_and_Rain sorry I didn't mean I've played through all of the Code Realize games. So far I've played through two endings on CodeRealize Guardian of Rebirth on the switch. I like to play through visual novels pretty slowly and I usually count any one full play through as beating the game. I want to finish all the possible endings for Guardian of Rebirth before I move on to the other titles, although I do own the trilogy on the switch. I really enjoyed the game and I'll probably do my third run soon. I feel silly mentioning this but on my channel I do have videos talking about the games I'm playing this year. CodeRealize Guardian of Rebirth was in my January video.
This was a great list! Star Ocean was definitely one of my favs I played last year. I’m currently playing FF7 Rebirth and I’m looking forward to playing Eiyuden Chronicles next later this month!
I recommend Star Ocean: Last Hope for your next Star Ocean game. It has a remake for last gen consoles that upscales the visuals and has a graphical style similar to Divine Force.
I'm playing Tomb Raider 1996 on that recent collection and damn, the levels in that game take so long that I can only do two levels a day, anything beyond that burns me out. I also recently finished Star Wars Dark Forces and it was generally good, I rewatched a New Hope because of that and it's just hard to watch now. Star Wars has been milked more than anyother media franchise and it's hard not to think of all the stuff that came out for the series over the years. I can watch stuff like Robocop, Terminator and Predator and divorce them from the milking but Star Wars is hard to do. I don't even dislike the movie but it also never rises above, "this is decent". Darth Vader is supposed to be an iconic villain but outside of killing Obi Wan which is a fight the latter pretty much gave up on rather than because he was beaten due to skill, it's hard to really get invested in him as a villain. If it weren't for James Earl Jones, I'd consider him to be really forgettable if I view him in isolation ANH. I would be here all day. I also played Jak the Lost Frontier and didn't dislike that game as many did.
On my switch I'm currently playing October Traveller and Xenoblade Chronicles. On my PS5 I'm replaying the Borderlands series to get hyped for the movie.
Love these videos and hearing your fresh thoughts on the games you are playing. I loved Raincode and it's a wonderful chill kinda game. I played it in October and loved it. Star Ocean Second R is in my backlog. Looking forward to playing it. Glad you're enjoying new Yakuza game. Like a Dragon is in the backlog. I have started Earthbound. I'm 3 chapters into Trails in the Sky FC. I'm happy with all the wonderful games to play.
I liked the mystery aspect and the sense of mystery around the place. It's definitely a slower paced game. I found it interesting and I didn't see alot of the twists. I didn't really get frustrated but I can see how some people might be. It lost me some figuring things out at times. It's a great winter game vibe for me.
@@femtrooper I am liking it more than I thought I would thanks ot the light JRPG elements. Recommended for DQ fans. I agree with the love towards Treasure Tracker. We are having a great time with co-op, and he is more and more designating me to camera control, ha.
Just recently beat FF16, Control and Cloudpunk. Working on Ghostwire Tokyo, Dead Island 2 and Stray. Thanks for the reviews especially with Star Ocean. I was on the fence on that one and now I’ll be checking it out. Cheers!
Love these kind of videos! I call them wrap ups! 🥰 just wondering on the danganronpa/master detective theme, have you tried ai the Somnium files at all?
Yes! Beat both 1 and 2! I like the first one more but both games are solid and I 100% recommend them! Date and Aiba are some of my favourite characters in video games!
I finished FFVII Rebirth last week so I’m between BIG games right now and just finishing up some tiny stuff (Hi-Fi Rush, Princess Peach Showtime, Pepper Grinder). Not sure what my next big RPG will be but I’m between Baldur’s Gate 3, Dragon’s Dogma 2, and FFXVI
@@Summer_and_Rain Same, I've heard great things, but I only just got around to the Remake Yuffie DLC and I still want to rewatch OG FFVII cutscenes, play the CC remake, and replay VII Remake before Rebirth hahaha
Im currently playing star ocean divine force, ffx remaster and finished eiyuden chronicle the spin off. And im really hyped for eiyuden chronicle 100 heroes
Currently playing Borderlands 2 on Switch and really loving it. Pure nostalgia for me since it was a game I played back in highschool so once I'm done with it I'll probably play the og FF7 for the very first time! I can't wait to play it then dive into remake afterwards.
I like this format and I like this idea of us sharing what we have been playing :) I beat Bayonetta after picking it up again (took me 4 hours to get into it), at first I did not like all the cutscenes, lore dump and being judge after every battle. But after realizing that the score did not really matter, I manage to get over it, and when Cereza and Bayonetta (and Luca) started interacting it became a lot more enjoyable to follow the story even if I still don't care about the lore of the game. Jeanne and Bayonetta are awesome characters
Yeah its not as challenging as I thought it would be on medium mode. On easy, it's probably quite accessible. The expansion they did was way too frustrating, difficult and annoying for me though. Otherwise, the original game content is a 15 out of 10 for me.
@@1DangerMouse1great game. I just finished it a couple weeks ago and believe it or not this was my very first PS4 game ever. 10/10 experience. Beautiful game and moving story, especially the ending.
@@resellingwithjonI beat it yesterday. 10 out of 10 game! I played it for over 96 hours. Beat all the side quests and did lots of things in it. The story is awesome and unique. Up there as one of the greatest video games of all time for me. Easily! It's so underrated by critics!
Wow, you have been making excellent progress. I have been chipping away at Persona 5 Royal and Vampire Survivors myself. I was very afraid that P5 would feel like a slog for me given the 100 hours it takes to finish the story but after 50 hours I am ready to play more. I hope to start Yakuza 7 one day but given what has been going on in my personal life, the Switch has been my only console I played. I'm also happy to hear you loved Star Ocean Second Story R. I recently got a physical copy of it on Switch and I cannot wait to dive into it one day.
I'm finally playing Star Ocean First Departure R which has been on my wishlist for a while and I wanted to play it before Second Story R and Divine Force.
Nice little list! Since you hint infinite wealth to be awesome, i just pick it up on sale in the psn shop. Yet i'm so low on time nowaday, i know this game gonna take me 2 months to beat 🤣
Nice video again! Recent-ish I played marvel ultimate alliance 3, astral chain, and I am currently playing xenoblade chronicles DE really enjoying it. I have recently bough star ocean second story r looking forward to playing it but think i will play a shorter calm game first like mario rpg or wonder trying to work down my back log from last year
@@femtrooper I enjoyed it was good, i will probably play it again. People say some negative things about it like the graphics (probably could have been sharper in some areas). However the gameplay is good and I liked the story
did you go for Claude or Rena in SO2? and do you plan to replay it to play as the other? I beat it a few months back as Rena and I definitely want to do Claude this year, especially w/ the update they came out w/
LOVED Star Ocean 2 story R soooo much. I super powered and hacked the final bosses. Is it worth playing it with Rena is the story arc different or the same play through.
I'm glad you mentioned you played another Star Ocean game before Second Story R. I haven't played a single SO yet so kinda wanting to wait on Second Story because of all the good reviews but set the bar too high and be disappointed in the others. Been planning on playing soon, but not this year. Im booked :D
Another great episode 😊 I can't wait for your video on Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth 🌟 I've just beat Pokémon Scarlet & The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles 😊 both were fun games but sunk so many hours into them haha. Currently playing Luigi's Mansion on Gamecube, Harvestella (which is incredible 😍) and I have picked up Pokémon Snap again (trying to complete my half finished games😅).
That’s awesome and a good idea! Always feels good to complete something! Harvestella is sooooo good and I’m so happy you are playing it! It really gets crazy!
@@femtrooper It is one of my all time favorites without question. I have defended it many many times with my friends over the years during our many debates. I know people have a preference and reasons for one or the other, but I feel like for me personally it is okay to like both Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross because they both are fantastic games!
Yeah, I wouldn’t rush out to play it but it’s also still pretty cool! Maybe you can find it used for cheaper! It does seem like one of those games that may become rare so who knows!
Nice, especially with Star Ocean I’ve currently played Live A Live, Granblue Fantasy Relink and Super Mario RPG. All 3 amazing RPGs And now I’m currently on Final Fantasy Adventure and the first DLC for Fate/Samurai Remnant
I started the year beating Atelier Ryza and enjoyed more than I expected (Atelier Firis burned me out from Atelier games for a long time.) I then started Blue Reflection 2nd Light, but P3 Reloaded arrived. I was two trophies sort of platinum due to a choice that Atlas made that I may whinge about in a future video. I've gone back to Blue Reflection 2, but I am, kind of feeling burned out at the moment.
I never played DanganRonpa and the only thing I knew about before buying Rain Code after researching for five minutes at the store and seeing it for the first time that is from the same people. Rain Code became my GOTY of 2023. I had a blast. For me the game was perfect.
I’m working through my backlog, current Horizon: Zero Dawn on the PS (at 46%) and XC3 (base game at Ch 5) on the Switch. Playing H:ZD on story mode and love the speed I’m moving through it. Definitely going to be playing more games on easy mode for backlog clearing purposes.
In the last couple of months I've beaten a few games. I've finished the Pixel Remasters of Final Fantasy IV and V and also AER: Memories of Old. Currently I'm playing 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim and some Stardew Valley every once in awhile.
Oooh! I want to share! For handheld gaming, I’m playing *Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga* for the Game Boy Advance. I started my play through around the same time as Super Mario RPG (2023) but haven’t gotten too much playtime in until recently. So far, I’m enjoying myself. It’s been fun comparing it to Super Mario RPG and seeing how differently each game handles things like humor and overworld traversal. Not to mention switching between a game that has no Luigi (save for Easter eggs and references) to a game where he’s front and center along with Mario. Good stuff. Since beating Super Mario RPG, I’ve been playing through shorter console games and will be doing so until May when I start my next RPG. The latest completion is *Super Bomberman 2* for Super Nintendo. This game, for the most part, is superior to the first Super Bomberman but one negative really hits this sequel hard and that’s the slowdown. It’s awful. It doesn’t happen in all stages but there were a large chunk of levels where I felt like my SNES was going to catch on fire. Because of that, I’ll probably go back to the first Super Bomberman’s story mode more often. The battle mode in SBM2 is fantastic, though (despite having slight slowdown there, too) and I am also glad they took away the squeaking sound from Bomberman’s shoes. 😂
Good picks, I've been playing the FFVII Remake Yuffie DLC to get me prepped for Rebirth (will also replay the main game, watch OG FF7 cutscenes, and play the Crisis Core remake too lol) and Xenoblade Chronicles 1-2 to get me ready to jump into 3. Bit of a replay period for me lol. Btw have you tried out Stellar Blade? The demo blew me away
@@femtrooper Having trouble trying to choose for you specifically, but my favorites are Taisho x Alice, the two Psychedelica games, and Cupid Parasite! Cupid Parasite is probably the one that I can recommend most easily out of these.
I recently beat Inscryption, which was phenomenal. I’m currently facing some decision paralysis on what to pay next, as there are too many choices lol I do have to finish Infinite Wealth though
I'm playing FF7 Remake, just started Hard Mode/post- game. I don't plan to renew my PS+ membership this year, so I have about a week left to work on it. Really enjoying the story, but they REALLY shouldn't have called it Remake, since it isn't one. Other than that, I recently played through Stranger of Paradise, that game was a WILD ride. I wound up surprisingly attached to the team of goofball edgelords. I've also been playing a lot of Hades, just like I have ever since it launched on Switch. I'm not particularly good at it, even after 1500 hours, but I love playing it. I'm currently trying to clear 32 Heat with all weapon types, just have the Fists to go!
@@Summer_and_Rain My main file is at 948 attempts, and has over 100 clears with each weapon. I probably have another 500+ clears across my other three saves, with about 800 attempts between them. I play it while listening to YT videos. What's your favorite weapon/aspect? Mine's the Rail of Hestia.
@@RwnEsper That is an amazing amount of work! I get it, all the weapon are pretty fun to do. I mainly issue the shield, aspect of Chaos. I am considering using spear, aspect of Achilles because of "raging rush" :)
2024 Games I've recently beating/been playing in 2024. 1. Silent Hill The Short Message (I beat it) 2. Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth (I beat the demo) 3. Dragonball Z Kakarot (Goku's New Journey DLC that I've beaten) 4. Sandland (the Demo but the demo seems to have no end) 5.Steller Blade (the Demo that I've beaten even though that game is frustrating and drove me nuts)
So far this year I have beaten: - Xenoblade Chronicles 3 (base game) - Star Ocean First Departure R - Pokémon Scarlet and Violet (including all DLC) - Harvestella I am nearing completion on Final Fantasy VII (OG) and Super Mario RPG. Next on my list are Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion and Star Ocean Second Story R.
@@femtrooper while I played a handful of JRPGs growing up, I didn’t realize how much I connected with the genre until I played through Xenoblade Chronicles 1 & 2. As I am a little late to the party, my backlog is starting to look like a greatest hits catalog as I keep adding to my list as I watch more and more videos from creators like you. Keep up the great work!
@@Summer_and_Rain I am nearing the end of the game and have loved my time with it. I was a bit hesitant to play this game as it is a bit dated graphically. And not going to lie, the first couple of hours didn’t quite connect with me. However, once my party made their way out of the starting area and out onto the world map, the game really hooked me from there on out. The story telling and character arcs are the areas that make this game great, at least to me.
Starting to get into more rogue likes. I find them great value and very fun and stategic. Slay the Spire mainly. I am getting Hades and Dead Cells at some point. Also I am thinking about starting the Yakuza series. As far as I know. Every game in the series is worth playing.
Yeah i feel like the dragon quest infinity strash had a lot of potential but I’m hearing mostly negatives on it… I may pick it up at some point! Great vid keep it up!
I beat Star Ocean The Second Story R and yeah that game rocked. The last game I beat was Unicorn Overlord, the main thing that got me interested in that game was the amazing 2d graphics it has. I'm not the biggest strategy rpg fan but it was good pretty long though took me 40+ hours
Love your videos. I've been playing Final Fantasy (1) Pixel Remaster and Resident Evil Revelations (1). Before that I played Final Fantasy 7 Remake and loved it so much. I'm gonna do Final Fantasy Crisis Core Reunion and then Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth very soon. I'm gonna be sad when they're over but I've got a ton of other games I want to play before the long sleep of deathhhhhhh 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😵
I just had to think for a second It would have been Pikmin 3 I finished I'm pretty bad with these things usually I start a game and then I put it down and then I hesitate about it months later 😂
I do that to XD I really like playing immortal Fenyx rising. I stopped playing because I wanted to save it for when I need a pick me up after a bad or slow game. But then there are games I start and then put aside for no good reason.
Just posted platinum unicorn overlord and now playing star ocean 2nd r. I’ll be travelling this month to Philippines. I’m trying to decide to play fire emblem engaged or bravery default 2 for the long flight. Can’t wait to the trip I’ll be picking up a lot of physical copies of games that are hard to find here in Canada and the prices are so bad either. Great video I really enjoy watching your videos.
@@Summer_and_Rainfirst flight is from Toronto to Vancouver is about 5hrs and then Vancouver to Taiwan 12 hrs then 90 min flight to Manila. Usually we fly direct from Toronto to Manila which is about 16hrs but doing it this way yes not as convenient but was almost half the cost which is means more money for games 😝
@@femtrooperthanks I’ll do my best thank god for the switch I remember back in the 90s when going on a trip having to carry around my game gear with all its accessories and like 100 batteries that would last only half the trip 😂 man how we have evolved.
Star Ocean 2 is really good, I regret a bit panicking about the filtered download required label which made me cancel my switch preorder and get the PS5 version instead. Currently I'm nearing the end of Rebirth and Trails in the Sky FC and damn, I'm a bit over-pg'd Gonna need something simpler and silly(er) afterwards.
I just beat Xenoblade Chronicles 2 yesterday. Loved the story but hated having to level up blades just to advance the Story. Also beat Another Code 1 and 2 those where pretty good games also beat Mario vs Donkey Kong and beat Bloodborne. Not sure if your into western RPGs but you should give the Mass Effect Trilogy a try if you haven't.
Leveling up the Blades was horrendous so it’s not a perfect game BUT I still loved it! I need to get Another Code for Switch! I beat the original Mass Effect Trilogy years ago and loved them!
I recently had to drop Zelda oracle of ages on NSO because I clicked load check point instead of create. Had to redo the eight dungeon so I decided it was time to retire it. Halfway through Yakuza 4…it’s not bad, but I don’t think making four playable protagonists was the right thing to do. I took a break half way through it. Beat super Mario world and Donkey Kong country for the first time. Very fine games. Understand why they’re beloved. Not something I will replay any time soon. Currently playing Metroid prime remaster, loving it! So very wishy washy for me lol. It all depends on the mood I was in while playing.
@@femtrooperI will still be optimistic about it since the second protagonist hits you with a jaw dropping moment. I want to find that click in the game where I’m really having fun.
I recently played Trinity Trigger and… ugh. So much wasted potential. It could easily have been a 9/10 but was more like a 5.5-6/10. Currently playing Tears of the Kingdom. I just finished BotW earlier this year so it’s still pretty fresh. Filling out smaller little breaks with early megaman titles and some other occasional NES romps.
@@femtrooper if you’re someone who likes doing all kinds of side content and what it then this would probably be more enjoyable. For me the issue was that I easily cruised through the main story and had a reasonably fun time doing so, only to get completely stonewalled at the end game with a difficulty spike that would have required me to backtrack and put several hours into levelling up and questing for gear. There were customization options in the game I enjoyed but mostly it seemed like it was all unnecessary… except I guess that if you were doing a bunch of side stuff all along then maybe it wouldn’t have been so bad. But then the game would have been far too easy. English voice acting was like a 2/10, so I did Japanese voice. With that setting and the nice hand drawn art style, it did feel like experiencing an anime at times which was good.
