No, YOU are the unbeatable business strategy of borrowing money on a guaranteed gamble is literally how the 2008 recession started! I’ll take that as a compliment this time but watch yourself next time.
Everyone knows GameStop employees buys back games for $2. Then they turn around and charge $49.99 for the same game. It must have been an perfectly acceptable and legitimate business strategy, otherwise why would they keep doing it?
I used to work for GameStop 2012-2015. Employees were horribly paid, and after the conversation I had recently with the manager of the store I used to work in, they still are. They prey on folks who are passionate about video games and want a job that deals with them. The reason the trade in rates were always so bad is that GameStop doesn’t make a penny on any new products. That includes games and hardware. The price they sell it for is the price demanded by the distributor/manufacturer. Same is true for other retailers like Walmart, Target and Best Buy. So GameStop ONLY made money on reselling used products, which is why the rates were so terrible.
my favorite parts of owning a game shop are manual labor and driving around also please continue to buy and play Wales Interactive games, you are singlehandedly propping up their business model
My favorite thing about you, is that you don’t curse or scream. I’m a fully grown adult woman in my early 30s, but I get so uncomfortable at how much every other gamer on YT curses and screams. Thank God for you ❤️
Other games: "From time to time, thieves, vandals and Karens may visit your store. Approach them and politely defuse the situation using flattery, appeasement and bribery to keep your business running smoothly." Game Store Simulator: "Hit them. _HIT THEM WITH THE STICK!"_
Bro the game store you described at the start, described a retro game store by me. Also having worked at a game store and a GameStop that sold funko pops and they are not profitable. Pretty much no one buys them.
Why do you have to start running in annoying circles whenever you start to get the slightest bit deeper than surface chat with your audience? What's the difference between a circle and an annoying circle, you may ask? Watch your video back and you'll see 😁
