Hi Marcus, I have been using the Edge810 for a number of years. I wanted to get my wife one...but she didn't want us to spend that much on a color/ nav equipped device. The Edge130+ has more than enough features for her desires...so, I ordered her one. I just wondered...why you didn't offer bike choices? It appears to have an Odometer field ODO...does it record miles on the Unit vice the Bike it is attached to? I kinda like being able to move my Edge810 from bike to bike...select the bike I am riding...and the ODO reading be for that bike. She has three bikes...and I would guess she would like to track the ODO for each bike separately. Maybe a feature that could be added to a future Firmware update? Thanks. Cool computer, can't wait to get it setup on her bikes...
Thank you for your question. On the Edge 130 Plus... 1. Select the menu icon (3 bars) 2. Select Navigation 3. Select Courses 4. Select a course 5. Select Ride Settings 6. Locate ClimbPro and toggle ON I hope this helps!
Thank you for your question. Yes, you will get speed and distance information through the built-in GPS receiver. However the Edge 130 Plus is also compatible with the Garmin Speed Sensor, and is power meter compatible.
Thank you for your question. Yes, it can charge while it is in use. We also offer the Garmin Charge Power Pack. With an additional cable, you can plug it into the Edge 130 Plus for up to an extra 24hrs of battery life. I hope this helps.
