Thanks for the info! Just went into my backyard (Missionary Ridge in Chattanooga) and found a Civil War bullet!! Literally 3 minutes after turning it on lol, I bet there's alllll sorts of stuff out there!
Loved my AT PRO and found some great finds with it ,yes fast and deep ,had my first Saxon coin with it ,but Like Sid said it do suffer with coke/hot rocks ,and my Roman sites are full of the stuff ,so i had to get a CTX 3030 as i was digging about 2 pouches full of coke ,this was then wasting my time ,still have the AT PRO as a back up ,got it because its like a land rover ,rugged and waterproof ,and you just stick it in the shower to wash it off ,,dont tell the wife lol ,have a good Xmas all and happy hunting next year , ps dig all your iffy signals ;)
I tried a few of Andys signals he had with his CTX and the PRO would not pick it out ,it was a small minim next to a bit of coke ,but also found that coke was the same signal as coke hence the reason i dug so much ,but the only down full with the CTX is the price and some pp cant afford one ,but the up side is I found the Roman founders hoard in a coke bed ;)
Hi Sid. I don't think that's the right description of the iron audio button mate. Iron audio is a checker for iffy signals, mostly when coin shooting. It enhances iron content in things like bottle caps. It's the same on the 400i. I keep iron audio off on historical land as it can mask good targets close to iron or give iron tone on faint deep targets. I tested this. ATB MMMD.
iv got one iv had it for a year and in my opinion its just not a very good machine. its not good around iron, you have to swing it really slow for it to work properly and separate targets, it chatters but you get used to that, the tones are ear piercing and often blend together in a messy popcorn way so you get confused as weather to dig the signal which is often something good, its top heavy. iv done nail tests and you can miss stuff quite easily compared to my other machines its pretty annoying when you see it .... it does work really well on clean land like pasture and once you get used to it you can do pretty well. after a year I'm kind of attached to it but i still don't have a fun time using it and my finds rate has dropped quite a bit .....iv got an ace 400i and my brother has a 300i and it does a lot better than my max when we've re out on farms. like i have 10 items hell have 40 (like i used to) ... i still find stuff with it but iv also got a few other machines and i prefer my technetics t2 for land use... I'm not trying to recommend any particular machine but its a nitemare
