I have just been informed of this. I am absolutely appalled that this so called 'Duel' has been even postulated never mind publicised. Especially without my permission. I know Gary is untouchable. My performance was a tribute to the great man. Look at the screen behind me in the video. There he is!!!! It's his music, he wrote it. How can anyone come close? I think I did a bloody good job and I am as much of a fan as everyone else here. I do not feel embarrassed at all. It is an honour that this has happened because it shows my efforts are worthy of comparison. However, Duels have always been and always will be vulgar. Music is NOT a competition. I play to enjoy myself and entertain. I feel violated. How dare you post my hard work to do the best tribute I can as a duel. Howie.
I apologize for my post regarding the appearance of these two guitarists. I admit there is a mistake in the sentence in the title "duel" and "Versus", which I have made. However, this is a motivation and inspiration for other guitarists to play their musical skills as well as possible, which can be said to be emotionally almost the same as real musicians. The only person that I have seen play with his heart and soul and says Gary Moore is his inspiration is 14 yr old Taj Farrant. Taj has also become friends with Gary's son and they are talking about doing a project together. No one will ever be Gary Moore but Taj is going to be one of the greats. Few if any can match Gary's feel and attack, but hey, credit where it's due, Howie G is an excellent player. I've seen them both live and they were both great, even if Gary does edge ahead in the feel stakes.
