It would be awesome if the security company could change their voice into something that sounds menacing, that way thieves would crap themselves when a booming voice comes out of nowhere and calls them out.

These stores need the following sign: Anyone who steals has three options: 1.) Pay triple the cost of the stolen items. 2.) Get the police called on you. 3.) You sign a waiver, we get to kick you in the nuts one time.
