I do Surveillance at a casino and I a lot of us recognize people that were involved in things. Especially thefts. Many times we would see them a few month later and we'd find the report they were in and catch them.
Love the absolute public humiliation he had to endure sitting in that van in front of his friends/coworkers. And absolutely impressed you were able to recall something that he took from over a month ago. Hope those other guys in the van never lets him forget about this.

Looks like these guys review the recording of basically every transaction in near real time. I guess it makes full use of the cashier's time, instead of just 'working' when they come to the counter to pay.

But he remembered him from 50 days prior while he was confronting him. That’s frickin crazy. Of all the random people that stroll through this gas station, to remember each thief, what they look like and what they stole even when they weren’t confronted about it previously… that’s impressive.
Happened when I worked at Walgreens, my buddy was the assistant manager and the guy was stealing beef jerky for weeks. Followed him across the street to Wendy’s and told his boss and the dude got canned. They were paying for his hotel and his meals the entire time. Best ever.
The memory on this guy, just remembering that this guy stole a Snickers ice cream almost 2 months ago without any real confrontation or anything to make it stick out in his mind.

As a painter of nearly 30 years I can assure you. Those guys aren’t professional painters and are merely just some hacks. Professionals wear correct attire and have an unwritten code of conduct. We are in the service industry and are meant to SERVE. Not thieve.
I agree Ive been Painting for 26 years myself and those guys look to me like a group of hacks that use that van for any kind of work they can find…They probably landed a job painting a house or the inside of a crappy rental property and they most likely bought or stole all their painting supplies from Harbor Freight..lol

Had a nice cookout at my grandma's a couple weeks ago. Was grabbing some ice for some Whiskey. Me being a curious rascal was going through the freezer to see the goods frozen for later. Saw there was an Ice Cream Snickers bar buried far beneath and forgotten. I snagged that and ate it immediatly. Easily the best theft I've done. Told my Gram after and she said she had no idea it was in there and that she's more than happy I enjoyed it.

Today is a Saturday, my family & I are taking a chill day & we’ve all been hanging out in the living room for the last 3 hours watching a “Gas Station Encounters” marathon on the big screen. It's a little different if you were just a kid. I don't condone kids doing that, but it's clearly not the same as when a full grown adult does it. Who can't afford a dollar or two for some tea? Most places I've gone to don't even bother charging for fountain drinks if you're buying something else. It does not cost them that much to lose out on those profits occasionally
