Ah yes the humble chain sword, the favored weapon of Space marine Assault Squads, Commissars and the Death Korp of Krieg (when they don't have their shovels)
@@ismaelsantos5378 I always found it funny that they made their titles their name *space Marine: gets new title added to the list of their titles Also Space Marine:adds the title to his name*
@@endwalker1927 Still not as bad as Imperial Knights. There are others that do not have a nickname/title besides their rank, like Malakim Phoros, chapter master of the Lamenters or Asterion Moloch, chapter master of the Minotaurs, or Merek Grimaldus, reclusiarch of the Black Templars.
I really hope you show them "Pity The Guardsman" or "Cadia" by the Templin institute Just to show just because the four tumors in reality have champions that can solo the gods apostle in gates world doesn't mean the average man will die Cause after all "The Planet Broke Before The Guard"
I mean.... A normal sword would just break from trying to slash through Space Marine Armor ( Edit: Then again, Rory's axe would prolly cut through Astartes Power Armor )
Man, hood job explaining one of the many "wonders" of the Warhammer 40k universe. As a Warhammer nerd, I know that explaining the series is not easy, especially to people who don't know about it. Great video.
Emperor be pleased. This was some Good Shit Eriana! Keep up the Amazing Work, my Friend! That bit with the Fangirling over Guardsman... I feel ya on that... *Glory to the Guard!*
Well, playing as the opposite gender isn't as rare as some people would think, this is especially true in 3rd person games; would you rather hear voices from/look at your own gender, or the opposite gender that you can find attractive? I do it all the time, especially in games like Monster Hunter and Phantasy Star Online 2 (really need to get back into the latter; big patch, new region coming up). 4:39 Still got a good chuckle out of that though.
I'm a man. In every RPG my first character is always a male with my nickname and it's always a rogue/ninja/assassin, if that class is not available then I set on a skirmisher type. Every other character I make is female because they are pretty to look at, though I dislike the "bikini armor" aesthetics, I prefer my ladies in feminine power armor/full plate (Like the Adepta Sororitas and the Silent Sisterhood of WH40K or the Zone Raiders from Kane's Wrath)
Same here, I played as a girl while playing Far Cry: New Dawn. Why? Honestly I just felt like it. While the Far Cry 5 and New Dawn main proagonists (you) don't have any voice lines, it was fun anyways!👍
Difficult question. The Athonian Tunnel Rats look gorgeous. The Death Corps of Krieg are awesome. The Elysian Drop Troops are also awesome. The Maccabian Janissaries look awesome and are very close in attitude to the Kriegsmen (only they have a bit of self preservation instinct instead of zero) The Savlar Chem Dogs (technically a penal legion but still) are funny with their "loot everything that isn't bolted to the ground and rip out anything that is" policy, their oddly permissive commissars and the fact that despite being all infantry there's at least one chem dogs regiment that has a BANEBLADE in their arsenal.
Most deathly is chainsword in Astartes Assault squads. Personally if I would had a choice between Chainsword and Powersword I will choose power sword. It is a lighter and more effective in combat against xenos or chaos Astartes (if it is a good made piece). But if you are go face to face with Terminator armor (chaos attack squad) chainsword is better if you want go through armor by pure strength instead looking for a weak spots.
Loved the video @~Eriana Foster~! Can't wait for the next video girl! Also, Hello from Prince George's county, Maryland, USA! If you need anymore Warhammer 40K content for GATE and the Angels to react to, I can't think of any Better Content than ArmA 3 Community Content Creator @Rimmy Downunder. His Unit in the Warhammer 40K Universe is known Only as the Cadian XXth, named because of their start as the Cadian 86th only to get wiped out on an Operation and Then Reformed as the Cadian 87th and again getting Wiped out and this time Being reformed as the 88th, then the 89th and so on and so on. So Rimmy and his crew decide "You know what, let's just call ourselves the Cadian XXth just to save everybody the trouble of Renaming the Unit every time we get wiped out on a operation." Music Content Creator @Singstrom was commissioned by Rimmy to put out a Song about the Cadian XXth as a Birthday Present from Rimmy to his Community, for his Birthday as well. Never have a Click on a video from this channel so fast.... 37 minutes after upload LMAO!
Whe also have chainaxes and chainfists what both sound and look strange. And sence one of you has ask, the chainweapons was invented because power weapons recuire so much rare matrials and can by defected in one example by a IMP but is still usefull and not many who know how to make and those who know (Adeptus Mechanicus and their techpriests) are very greedy when is about knowledge and technology and because of corruption they believe that inovation is heresy and much more, and are also very intimidating and a knife or simple sword won't do too much when most of your enemys are more resilient because of their biology and strong armor. And in warhammer 40k, the mercy can be your last mistake and if don't want to kill in brutal but eficient way your enemy exactly that want to do with your poor being and he will enjoy killing you in creative ways.
Please answer, you can make a video about the gods of Khorn - for example, about the lord of war Khorne, blood for the bloody god! Skulls for a throne of skulls! Well, I think you know.
Have you ever heard of a helmet cam Rory I could take the footage from the helmet cam which means I don't really have to be there in order to record it An alternate answer you could have given but chose not to-
