Here's an update on the 2.5RS! Rust repair is taking a whole lot longer than I had anticipated and it's pretty difficult to film everything, so hopefully this will give you guys an idea of where I'm at.

This was the first video of yours I've seen I really enjoyed it and love the GC8 chassis and you being about that life. In Australia we didn't get coupe's like you guys get. As a guy who loves Hondas but is passionate about the 84-87 Civic, I get it. Thank you for sharing, will follow along.

Thank you, means a lot. The coupes are definitely rare over here too, but not nearly as rare as it is for you guys. At least you got turbo models!

I'm so jealous that's one of the cleanest ones I've seen, even the amount of rust you have is "minor" compared to most of what I've seen

I would definitely say the rust is somewhat minor. A good bit but definitely not the worst I've seen either.

@@OldieProductions I have seen cars on the road with Tacoma drain holes on all 4 corners, for some reason that era of Japanese performance cars all just rust like hell

I'd love to have a matching SRP sedan one day. I'm definitely a coupe guy though.

@@OldieProductions The coupes are definitely awesome. I got lucky and found min with only 47k miles in 2018. I hope that my future coupe is RHD!

im an original owner of a 2000 2.5rs...found your channel due to rust issues on the gas filler side as well as the rear rocker on the drivers side which i need to get to get taken care of...my car has mostly been garage kept but still has rust...im in the burbs of philly so its a snow area and salted roads mean cars get rusty

My car actually came from PA, then down to Florida, so it's had a rough life when it comes to salt.
