For anyone struggling to get the belt on - I believe the GE belt is easier, but would take longer to get. I bought one off amazon and thought it was impossible, but I came up with a technique that made it much easier First off, WEAR GLOVES. Not rubber gloves. Work gloves. Second, hold the belt wadded up in one of your hands and use a hair dryer on it for about 30 seconds. This way you can get the whole thing at once. If you can't smell the rubber keep going. Now, start the belt on the small spool then go to the left one. start threading it around as far as you can go with your left hand until you can't go any further. Now - make a fist and press your fist against the side of the belt to hold it on. As you start rotating the spools around, keep pushing with your fist. It will keep the belt on. Once you get right past the halfway point you're pretty much done, so you don't have to really force it for very long.

Hi I replaced it but it’s now making a metal with metal sound that wasn’t there before… do I need to add a belt conditioner?

Heat up the belt with a hair dryer or boiling water. Much easier

Does anybody know why my belt keeps coming off? I have to put it back on every few months and unfortunately, I never know it's off until I have a now soaking wet load that cant get drained because the machine cant spin
