I'm still skating my Genesys. Solid workhorse of a skate.

About speed on anti-rocker vs flat. It depends greatly on your weight. For lightweight skaters it won't make much difference, but the heavier you are, the more pronounced the difference. I'm heavy for a blader, at 108 kg, and for me, anti rocker setups are slow, no grip, and wheels wear down quickly. Like rolling on flat tyres.

I've thought about the foot numbing issue mentioned by a viewer at the beginning. I've experienced the same condition and found that i have laced my skates to tight. Another solution to this is using different laces, like the expanding ones rather than waxed laces or locking laces. Another interesting Episode of GT. Thanks for the content.

Just got a set of compass 80mm frames for my gawds fm2's cant wait to skate big wheels. Skated a park for the first time in 15+ years last week. Was awesome. Now some big wheel skating to help with my aggressive fitness. Love the videos. Keep up the great work

I've had both of my 'sheep dips' as I hear some people calling it haha. They're talking about giving us a third jab soon as a booster in the UK.

I had the same issue with them being too tight. I have a size 12 boot and the side of toes are just a tad wide. Just bought the 5th element Storm boot and feels much better. These skates are goegeois but I need functionality over fashion. Live and learn.

Can you do a top 10 skates in 2021 video please 😁 🙏 Also fully agree with wearing a helmet but still trying to bring myself to wear wrist guards they feel so dorky 🤣

They suck. But once I hurt my wrist and couldn’t type for a week I made it work

Ever tried tennis balls stuffed in wherever there is a need for a little extra room? I put a couple small holes in them if there isn't enough room to squeeze two next to each other & one is not big enough. Have to leave them in a bit but it's worked for me before on toe pressure problems

@@BacktoBlading Thank you for the inspiration as well. Building my first mini ramp at 40+ after a long hiatus & enjoying every moment between the scrapes, breaks, & bruises. Thank you for all you do & for working to help keep people's skulls intact

There has been an issue bothering me for a while. I have Oysis and Kaltik Baats (with 110), and I just need a boot that will make both work. I am thinking of USD Sway, Rollerblade Blank, Tim Frank Gawds or Seba CJ? PD: On second thought, I think that having one boot with two frames and always be changing them forth and back is not a good idea. I already stripped one Adapt T-nut, and that is quality. Imagine the shitty T-nuts of a Sway... I am considering maaaaany options, will see which I choose in the end. Suggestions welcome!
@art0nblades
@art0nblades 2 года назад
I would probably go for Seba CJs as they are the go to for wizard skating. I have some Seba SXs and used them with Iqon 90s which also take 110s and it worked really well. It's definitely more supportive than the Sway and RBs (which I skated both, but the RB Solos).

@@art0nblades It is a good suggestion. I am definitely going to get some SX or CJ for my Rockin. RB Fusion was not good enough... In the end I backed off from the dual setups. Have gotten some Aeon 80 for aggressive/commuting, and I plan to order some big wheel skates for distance. Not sure which though.

I'm going to try to go back to skating after a 15 year break and also suffering a big head injury. So balance isn't great. I'm getting some usd sway 60. What you think of them? Are they recommended? Or aeon better for first try.
@BacktoBlading
@BacktoBlading 2 года назад
Sway are great skates. Get yourself a good helmet and probably some wrist guards.

I think so, but they aren’t specifically heat moldable. I’d search for carbon free heat molding instructions
