This is the kind of poetry that makes other poets jealous they didn't write it themselves ... count me among those! My favorite line - "Send me a silent stare, talk to me with a kiss, miss me when I’m still with you." Congratulations on writing the perfect, perfect poem.

It all goes back to "White Men Can't Jump". She doesn't want you to get her a glass of water she wants you to feel her thirst. Don't solve her problems, listen and empathize with them. Unfortunately most men (including me) aren't made that way. We want to spring into action and "fix" everything. It's really hard to come up with new, unique ways to describe what love is but this poem does it many times over. Great work.
It's funny , I love this poem but I think I need to apply this to my relationship on terms of my boyfriend. Guess it only shows that listening goes both ways. Once again beautiful poem!
