Thank you for posting this good information!!!!!! The kits with the large regulator cost as high as 350 and are not needed if you're running natural gas or propane with a regulator, I scored a 5000w generator for less than a hundred from my neighbor because it needed a carb rebuild. It's really hard to justify rebuilding some carbs, especially when you can do this upgrade, Great video.
V Power Equipment, This was the only video that actually explained that this is a low pressure flow control carb, Not a high pressure regulator that nobody needs anyhow, I spread your information on Amazon, Thanks again!
I installed this on my Generac gp8000e and it runs like a champ on propane and gasoline.. haven't tried natural gas yet but have no doubt that the genny will run .
Have any video's using this on Natural Gas. I haven't found a single video review with this Carb running on Natural Gas make's me skeptical of buying this Kit.
So . would i be able to use this and hook into the natural gas at my home to run the generator . Would i need a regulator or anything other than this tri fuel carb.
The issue I have with my own, when the gas pressure is very low, and I turned on my AC, the generator begins to jerk and voltage fluctuates. The generator is a 3.1kv. Also, when the gas cylinder is filled with gas to capacity, it runs the AC well. So does the gas pressure level affects the voltage the generator produce?
@@efeanderson689 Something I found, when the cylinder gets close to empty, the pressure drops causing your air fuel ratio to become erratic. A way I found around this is to put the cylinder in a basin or something and then pour boiling water over the cylinder (2 liters or so). This will then raise the pressure inside the cylinder
yes the bowl will have gas in it some times the generator will drain that bowl first and sometimes it will just start running on LP. So if you are storing the generator and have run on gasoline we recommend draining the bowl
Sir i have company fitted same dual carburetor. My problem is how to adjust gas setting when i switch it to CNG fuel supply get low but if i move it little towards lpg than fuel get stable supply. Please need little guid for this 2nd thing my generator keep missing in startup but get stable after few mints
