Very clear video. After watching, I ordered the part from China for my predator 8750. Installed it today and it works like a charm. I felt I could trust you by looking at your hands - they have done some work. Thanks and take care !
you probably dont give a damn but does someone know of a tool to log back into an Instagram account..? I was dumb lost my login password. I would appreciate any help you can give me
@Kendall Matthias I really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and im in the hacking process atm. Seems to take a while so I will reply here later with my results.
Well done on Gas and Propane Carbs, kind Sirs. But I was waiting for you to show us a working NG Crab. Because I'm buy a new 9500 Watt SUPER QUIET Inverter Generator with CO SECURE Technology; from Harbor Freight. Because I WANT NG Carb and NOT use either gas or propane. Will you be videoing; that shows a NG Carb working? Thank You much.
@@shawnmrfixitlee6478 But I have a question kind Sir? Champion TRI-Fuel, 10,000/8000 Watts Generator says, "You don't need a regulator on NG". Because, the gas meter at your home; already has the regulator. So, all they do is to take a gas line; right into the generator; if you don't use propane. Which I don't. What is your take on that, Sir?
Found that Chinese carburetor for a Honda motor on eBay for $22. I have it on a Home depot Power Stroke 7000 Watt generator, now it runs on gas,and natural gas. I am running on natural gas it runs great.
I used a GX420 on my Predator 8750 13 hp Generator and it works great. When I was looking for an alternative to a 200.00 US Carb Tri Fuel kit I was told I would need the GX420 and they told me the GX390 was for up to 12 hp and the GX420 was for 13 to 15hp. So what is the real difference between the two? The only difference I could see was the regulator was a little bigger on the GX420 but the carburetor itself had the same size openings and choke.
Gasoline has more power output amount for amount than NG or Propane. So the carb can be the same size, but needed a larger regulator for the NG/Propane.
Ok, so where does the 2 wires from the solenoid go to?? I am checking these kits out but can not seem to find where the wires should go. - Thanks for the video, it was great!
My guess is the solenoid is the AntiBackfireSolenoid for operation on gasoline. Solenoid blocks main jet when not powered. Unless you hav 12v supply to you couldn't use gasoline. Common practice is to replace it with a bolt that matches its thread size pitch and length. If you idle engine down before shutdown they usually won't backfire in muffler.
hey bro do you know if they make one to fit my westinghouse 7500 watt gen ???? thanks good video to i hope they make a carb the kit is like $240. ouch !!!!
Thank for posing I did not know how to adjust the ideal screw. I want to do an LPG conversion also. To copy honda these copies only have to be altered slightly to get past copyright laws The problem with LPG is I know you will go through more LPG then you do with just Gas But if the carby blocked you can still run it on LPG
Never saw one of those. What i want to see is running it on natural gas. During hurricanes I don't have easy access to gasoline or lpg but I have natural gas non stop.
Amateur Redneck Workshop This carb kit is the cheapest and the best conversion. I did it and it runs well. Use half choke to start and full choke to hand start. Works very well on propane and very easy to install!
That was pretty obvious. That's why I wondered if they are also made for the smaller generators. Thank you. =0) I haven't found anything like this for the eu1000i so far, after hours of searching. (Your vid was found during the searching. Figured it was worth a try to ask. LOL) I'll probably just make my own setup.
Unfortunately, I believe you are absolutely correct. Oh well, I'll just make my own setup, I guess. If I am successful, maybe I'll even make a vid. LOL
I cringed when you turned on the gasoline valve with no inline fuel filter on a brand new carburetor... especially after stating at the beginning of the video how long this unit has been sitting.
