I am not a beginner, but I find slow gentle hatha yoga to be more beneficial to my body rather than fast vinyasa flows etc. With gentle yoga you are more in tune with your body and deep stretching. Thanks so much for this video!

I suffer from vertigo and stopped yoga since I fell and hurt myself due to dizziness. After 5 years I have decided to try again and came across this class. I managed the whole session without vertigo getting in my way. Thank you for getting me back into loving yoga. Namaste 🙏🏽

Thank you for the video. I'm trying to do something everyday to improve my fitness (whether its strength, stretching, balance, cardio etc) as i'm turning 30 this year but felt like I'm turning 50. I've always disliked exercise, am terribly clumsy and have hypermobility so feeling so old made me feel very worried about future health problems if I didn't start moving now. I come back to this video when I have had a bad day and dont feel like doing anything but badly want to honour the commitment I made to myself to do something everyday. Today was a very bad and stressful day at work and I come into this feeling grumpy and disorientated, but feeling a bit better now.

Thank you soooooooooo much Jessica for this instruction video. I am a beginner. I tried a few other videos that have millions of views on youtube and they just didn't work for me. Most of them stay in the hands knees pose for so long that i ended up having severe pain the next day. Your tutorial is perfectly balanced - exactly how yoga should be. You also mention the correct form ie how your belly, your back etc should be and you do it in such a beautiful gentle manner. For any exercise, form is the most important thing. Well done!
Thank you for creating this. I am new to yoga and I’ve gone to a few beginner classes but I just wasn’t feeling comfortable enough to relax and do the poses they wanted us to do and there was so many distractions it was hard for me to focus. As a beginner I also had no idea what they were trying to get us to do as they were calling out poses so I had to constantly look over at the instructor to figure it out. I really appreciate you explaining everything as you were doing it. It made it so much easier to follow, and your voice is so relaxing as well. It definitely helped me focus a lot quicker than the classes did… I’m so glad I found your channel.
Hi, I was just wondering if you have found any other videos that have worked for you as a beginner. I am mostly finding ones that quickly go to poses that are unfamiliar and difficult while calling them beginner. Hope you are continuing to have a good yoga experience😊

I've done about a dozen different beginner yoga youtube videos over the last week or so - I absolute love your instruction. I don't have to stop what I'm doing and crane my head up to the tv to see what you're doing, your instructions are very clear and simple.

I have trouble just sitting cross legged. I couldn't even do it as a child. My hips and back don't seem to want to line up like i see in others. As a man at 40 trying to start Yoga failing at this most basic position and in mild pain doing it i am pretty proud i did the whole halfhour..albeit terribly. I am surprised how much i enjoyed it.
