I've been practicing these lessons for 3 months and before my range was:E3-C5.Now my range is A2-C6.Thanks a lot. Well, I still have to learn to control my breathing and to avoid sounding nasally but anyway I am not that terrible singer I have been before. God bless You!Now I see those faces who once told me that I will never sing good.
L Lovely! Je suis une francophone du Québec. J'adore vos petites vidéos. Votre accompagnateur est très sympathique et VOUS, vous avez une voix et un sourire à crever l'écran. Merci pour ces pratiques.
Day 7: A fun and fantastic way to finish off the week. Loved Mark's input on the final exercise :D Thank you so much for all your hard work creating these videos :)
I had to pause the video after the first banana because of hysterical laughter and when I finally composed myself there were 3 MORE BANANAS and I completely lost it :D
Thanks for your lectures. I've been struggling in the choir. People say that I sing too low in my alto part. I'll practise these exercises regularly to improve on my voice.
Hello Anna and Mark. Just finished the warm down exercises for the second time. Needless to say, like most people, the long yellow fruits finished me off the first time - but such good fun! I ignored the little minxes this time! You two are just amazing and have helped me so much in the short time I have been working with your videos. I am going to post more comment regarding others. A million thanks.
There is always something that cracks me up about your videos! This time....those mananas!! LOL Thank you for your tutorials!! It is 2020 and yes....I warm up and practice! Thank you!! My voice has gotten very strong just with your warm ups and your daily exercises. Incredible! Thank you once again!! Talking about neigh stayers!! Carlyle Shaw, Forget You!!!
oh my god! you both are tooooo cute together . loved how mark sang in the end ...you both raise my vibrational state and I love it...Keep going ! muahhhhh
Thank you! You are amazing, talented, warm and funny! Vocal training has never been both entertaining and useful for me, but you guys have have found the perfect balance. God bless you!
Thank you Anna and Mark. I did all the lessons. The exercises really helped me, so by this video I am singing more on tune because I am listening better. My overall sound has improved. I will keep doing them. You made it enjoyable all the way through. Blessings.
Ha, ha, "If you don't like the way I sing, forget you!" I'll bet you were thinking of another word besides 'forget' but you're much too polite to sing it.
I’ve been watching your videos (this one in particular) for around 2 years and I just now noticed you pulling out those bananas and I completely lost concentration from laughter Curses and bless you 😂😂!!
Oh Anna and Mark, I have written to you several times since last July (2017) and practice EVERY day. I don't know whether you recall, but I have said again and again that the improvements I have made (in all aspects) are unbelievable. I have a slight worry at the moment though. I NEVER have any pain whatsoever, so no throat problems. If singing does not go as well as I would like, I stop and continue later. However, my problem (if this is a problem) is that lately I do my practising OK and then I begin to sing, but I sometimes find that in the morning before lunchtime my voice is very dry (I drink lemon water whilst singing) but not painful. So I leave it alone and begin again after lunch. My voice seems to have become "oiled" by then. Please tell me if this is weird, because in my infinite wisdom (Ha!) it DOES seem rather peculiar. I wondered whether cool air has a bearing because in the afternoon the air IS much warmer. I don't want to, and CAN'T give up singing now I have come this far. I am sorry I am such a nuisance and hope this isn't a stupid question. Many many thanks to you both. Kind regards xx
Hi Diane, it is totally natural to feel dry in the mornings - this is due to all the moisture you breathe out overnight. Most singers feel more comfortable singing later in the day.
Just replying to say thank you very much for putting my mind at rest Anna. I never thought of losing moisture all night whilst sleeping. You explained that very well.

Verba Vocal Technique Yes, and I want tell you my Story. Im studing Music. Im a Drummer who wants to sing too. At next Week I start to take singing inside of my studieng at little University. To the Video: why the Bananas?
Thank you for the weekly videos! I find that I can often reach the 'high' notes that I need to, but they often sound strained or I struggle with making them sound smooth. I find this gets more difficult during performances! I've tried the range extension video, but do you have any other advice for that? Thank you.
Wonderful...THANK YOU. I surfed the net to find out about the banana...I still don't get it...Thank you for an answer, I know it is not that important but I want to learn. LOVE to Anna, Mark, and everyone else...
I love these lessons. my voice is getting more confident now this is the 2nd time i've gone through. What is that last song, 'if you dont like the way i sing'-who did that originally?
I have a video called How to Sing when you are Sick. It talks about what to do. If you struggle to find it then go to www.verbavocal.com where I have the videos sectioned out. It will be under singers tips advice.
Thank you Anna so much, my voice is getting better everyday...I got 1 question...After i'll finish these weekly exercises and my voice will be great, will I need to do them anymore? Will my voice lose the 'singing good' ability?
Verba Vocal Technique Sean Marren Haaaahaaaa I completely stopped the video and died 😂. I loved it! Thank you for the great cool down! I needed it after singing for 3 hours straight at my gig🎶😊.
