Great song that still feels fresh after 50 years. Personally, i love the video which coinciding with the release of the Apple Years 1968-75 box set in September 2014, Harrison's widow and son, Olivia and Dhani Harrison, held an online competition in which filmmakers were invited to create a video clip for "What Is Life". The winner would receive a $5000 cash prize and have their entry become the official video for the track, appearing on the George Harrison RU-vid channel and other media platforms. In November, Olivia and Dhani selected Brandon Moore of Oakland, California, as the winner. Moore's video comprises dance interpretations by Emma Rubinowitz and Esteban Hernandez of the San Francisco Ballet, filmed in the streets and woods of the San Francisco Presidio

"What Is Life" was the second single from George Harrison's 1970 triple album, All Things Must Pass, his first post Beatles solo album. "My Sweet Lord" was the big hit from that album, which also features the songs "Wah-Wah", "Isn't It a Pity", "All Things Must Pass", and a cover of Bob Dylan's "If Not for You" among its classic tracks. I was a very little kid back then, but I remember hearing some of those songs on the radio station my parents listened to. George Harrison wrote The Beatles "Here Comes The Sun", one of my favorite songs of all time. He also wrote "Something", so your ears noticing the similarities were spot on! Harrison also wrote such classics for The Beatles as "While My Guitar Gently Weeps", "Taxman", "I Want to Tell You", "Savoy Truffle", "Long, Long, Long" and "I Me Mine". Good stuff!
