I think Elton John's face is priceless when he watches George sore at the very end. I love Elton's voice but omg, George Michael's voice is absolutely epic. Fantastic duet and fantastic reaction.

the BEST duet elton john ever did. just a little side note.. there is NO studio version of this song. this live version is all there is and they couldn't have done it any better imho.

Yeah this is for sure one of the best duet performances I've ever heard and one of my absolute favourites. The way they go back and forth and compliment one another is incredible. The crowd reactions made it that much better as well. I love listening to this version with Elton John and George Michael together.. I've probably heard it thousands of times and it never gets old, and still gives goosebumps when I hear them together. They were great friends, I wish he was still around, they both have incredible voices. Legends🙏

He wasn't a "sir" at the time of this concert. The audience had absolutely no idea Elton was going to be there. I love that they filmed him walking up to the stage in the dark.

I have been obsessed with this version since I first heard it. My best friend and I do would always do this as a dramatic, belty duet on road trips, hitting the dashboard for the dramatic drums. I never, ever get sick of it. Elton is epic Elton, George brings this passionate desperation to the song. Their voices together are absolute magic. I loved your reaction so much because your shrieks of excitement and disbelief at the amazingness match how I feel when I listen, every time. Thank you!

I'm listening to music over 60 years this is one of the greatest performances ever. Two great singers, all good. George was one of the greatest singers ever. He did an incredible cover with Queen Somebody to Love tribute to Freddy Mercury. Worth checking out! Best success on yr channel.

This is an Elton’s song. George Michael had it covered (and in my opinion made it better 🙊). Elton John had only recently come out of rehab and George Michael asked him to join him and sing the song together. Masterpiece!

This is one of the single greatest live performances ever!! When I first heard it many years ago cuz I just turned 40 so when this came out I was a young buck man and I showed every single person that would listen to me this performance president is absolutely amazing 😍

What makes the performance even more special is that it was Elton's first public appearance in over a year as he had been in rehab and concentrating on his sobriety. This signaled his return.

Been to hundreds of concerts and George Michael was incredible live. I never got to see sir Elton he was never close enough when I was younger and now it would be so expensive not sure I could afford it lol.

Tragic story related to this song. Elton dedicated this song (in Charlotte NC) to Matthew Shepard, after he had been attacked and was hospitalized. You could have heard a pin drop in that arena. Sadly, he passed away 2 days after.

Certainly was EPIC!! I met Elton John in 1974 at Liverpool Airport (didn't know he was there!). Just by luck my brother asked him for an autograph which he did, no problem at all! I was 14 yrs old, & my brother, 19 yrs old. So sad I never met the fabulous George Michael, so sad he passed away, he should have been a 'Sir George Michael'!! xx

Great reaction Travis both legends. George Michael was my very first concert in NYC Madison square garden 1988 faith tour he was amazing live never forget you just brought me back to age of 20.;thank you. You have to react to his video one more try

You need to review more George Michael songs. He sang, wrote and produced dozens of his notable songs. Also, he was an AIDS activist and philanthropist to many children’s charities. George’s 1993 Concert of Hope for Princess Diana and the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert were fabulous. His duets with Whitney, Aretha and Mary Jane Blige were amazing, to name a few. WHAM was his and Andrew Ridegely’s introduction to worldwide stardom. George left WHAM and became a megastar with millions of fans worldwide. George will be inducted into the Rock & Rock Hall of Fame in Nov. 2023.

I'm someone who loves originals. Regardless of whether it's movies or music. I'd list some examples, but then people will say mean things and hate me. So, I'll just stick to Elton John's Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me. It was one of my favorites, until I heard this version. It's absolutely, stunningly brilliant!! I listened to the first half of the song with my mouth half open!! I can't stop listening!

Elton played this just two days ago as a tribute to his friend Shane Warne whose memorial was held at the Melbourne Cricket Ground- Shane was one of the best cricket players who has ever lived.. he died suddenly at the age of 51. Elton is a legend. PS he was not a Sir at this time.
