Welcome for another installment in the No Talk, All Tone series and this week we take a peek at a double whammy of ridicule within the guitar community. This is the Behringer take on the Boss Metal Zone and those are two words I didn't think I'd be ever writing. It is a pedal which is pretty far out of my comfort zone and metal tones don't exactly appeal to me. That being said, it was actually a much more useable pedal than I expected, it does always have that overly compressed metal edge to the tone, but the EQ is so powerful it can really shape the tone to get that sweet spot for your rig. Like anything that powerful, it can also be used to great detriment too. All in, I think you can get some pretty decent metal tones out of this thing, so it does exactly what it says on the tin.
